When I was 9, my mom & I drove 1,200+ miles to live in Kansas for a year.
We got 4 audiobooks for the trip:
-Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
-Collected Works of Edgar Allen Poe
-The Chosen by Chaim Potok
-To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
I just realized how foundational those books were for me.

Even famous people used to have a hard time getting wacky ideas out into the world for all to see. Now, anyone can do it.
And w/out those barriers, they can't outgrow biases or mindsets. A big social media following has reinforcement or conflict causing doubling down.
Also, they definitely changed stuff in editting from the shooting script b/c I remember a cut scene from an alternate ending with Bourne getting drugged looking for Marie's shop and waking up to Brian Cox offering him a job.
Hmmm...doesn't Walter Goggins do that info dump at Langley talking about her background/family hen mentions a brother and suggests sending Clive Owen to the farm?
I always viewed that Marie was saying that side of the family was a different class and never considered her one of them.
