Party Statement: 81 Years Since The Liberation Of Auschwitz

"The Red Army soldiers who liberated Auschwitz would see the same pain in an emaciated Palestinian in Gaza, as they would in a Jew in the camps they liberated."

We greatly mourn the loss of Michael Parenti, a Marxist who greatly influenced our membership. As a movement largely made up of people born after the fall of the Soviet Union, he helped wipe away the piles of rubbish heaped on its grave.

But short of an absolutely seismic political shifts, I don’t see Reform dropping much below their current levels of support. It’s reasonable to expect them to be the official opposition party come May.

Another thing - if it is neck-and-neck Plaid Cymru / Reform, and Plaid Cymru win it tonight, it’s not really a ‘victory’ over the far right.

Proportional representation means that 6 months down the line, Reform will likely be the largest opposition in the Senedd.

Most of the more ‘imaginative’ Labour MSs are stepping down aren’t they? Like I don’t really view Labour MSs are ‘real’ politicians.

50.4% turnout is a proper surprise, think the concept that the political future of Wales is actually up to debate after decades of inaction from Labour is getting people out.

Yesterday, the people of Cymru mourned and commemorated the tragedy of Aberfan, where 144 people, including 116 children, died tragically from a preventable coal slip. These thugs have nothing to offer the people of Cymru besides violence and hatred. They do not care that Welsh people continue to live in the shadow of coal tips, and they do not care that Welsh people continue to experience extreme poverty.
