Hey John. Just transitioning to summer mode. Less screen time, more outdoor time. How about you?
The real GOP OT tax plan, only the extra 50% pay is tax-free.
Work 10 OT hours at $25/hr?
$250 (regular pay) = taxed
$125 (OT bonus) = tax-free
You still pay tax on the base rate. It’s not “no taxes on overtime”, it’s “no tax on the bonus for overtime.” Can't wait for the fallout at tax time.
Beautiful evening walk.
Or has he??? With Hegseth the Horrible in control, it sounds like secrets are between friends, countrymen, enemies, et al.
Is "Free Speech" a uniquely 'Murican thing, or does it apply to all sentient beings on the planet?
Asking for a friend... okay, actually asking for someone who never expected to see Authoritarian America... EVER!

Where is the MAGA outrage as these rocks are turned over, and the scum is exposed? As usual, conspiracies and lies sell if you are MAGA. There is no place for the truth.

Trump Administration Reverses Policy on Social Security Overpayment Clawbacks
The administration has lifted previous limitations on Social Security overpayment recoveries, now permitting full clawbacks, raising concerns among beneficiaries about financial stability.
Only in America could a Ketamine-infused South African oligarch call a navy captain, astronaut and sitting US senator "a traitor" for supporting our allies and standing up to Russia...
FUN FACT.
Privatization = taxpayer-funded corporate profits.
It’s a scam, not a savings plan. We don’t eliminate costs—just funnel tax $$ into private hands.
Example: Cities privatizing water = bills skyrocket while service worsens.
RT if you agree! #PrivatizationScam
Gov job cuts don’t reduce costs—they just outsource them.
Instead of funding public employees, tax dollars now go to contractors who charge more & lobby for even bigger contracts.
Example: Military spending—private firms bill taxpayers at higher rates.
Where does the money go?
Privatization doesn’t cut costs, just changes who profits.
Private firms charge higher fees
Less public transparency
Higher exec pay, lower worker wages
Example: Toll roads—privatized = higher fees; public = tax-funded upkeep at cost.
Myth: "Privatization saves money!"
Reality: Private firms still get paid with tax dollars, but now they add profit margins, executive pay, & shareholder dividends. Gov employees work at cost—private firms charge extra.
Why don’t people get that privatizing government services still costs tax money? Cutting gov jobs doesn’t save tax dollars, it just shifts them to private companies that charge more, reduce transparency, and turn public services into profit machines.
My next thought of the day: A lot of talk about getting rid of waste and saving the taxpayers money. I don't disagree that fiscal oversight is always necessary. Why isn't anyone talking about the costs of these services going private. Are these costs somehow not billable and paid by tax revenue?
Stripping out premium revenue, X makes far less than Twitter did. So, is it really a business success, or just paywalling losses? #Twitter #X #BusinessStrategy #CrashandBurn
