I don't agree. We should recognize that no kinks are "worse" than others for as long as they aren't hurtful for society. Seeing things as grading scale is really harmful - it implies you always need "the creeps" on the outer side to keep you normalized... that if somebody starts to ban most horrible content, everyone will get banned... This is a slippery slope fallacy. That also implies that, since the kinks are inherently unequal, you want to preserve the most terrible abuse materials to keep the list of fetishes normal in comparison. Like... no. At some point you breach the social contract where it's no longer a part of a spectrum. Not to mention the spectrum argument reminds me dark pages in LGBT history. About attempts of certain queer people to look good in comparison to "more risque" parts of LGBT. Like no, we're all kinky as shit. There's no way to try to wiggle out of it. No grading must exist and we should purge things that breach the social constract (inherently abusive and exploitative). Not to mention Overton window is a concept proposed by a right-wing policy analyst, but there's no proof it actually works. Even when politicians tell us that bad things are okay now... no, they are still bad. And even bad people know they're bad, they just finally got to do them. Overton window doesn't work.
