Ossoff: I don’t know if you saw, but JD Vance was in Georgia this week. Don’t worry—no one showed up. The stadium was empty.

There is so much market manipulation going on in this administration.
"Billionaires should not be making tax policy for working people in America."
Rep. Melanie Stansbury
Many of you know this, but we’ve been getting questions on how did the Trump administration use the CRA to go after the Boundary Waters? Short answer is illegally.
Oh and in good news, I was selected as Reporting on Workplace Mental Health fellow for the National Press Foundation :)
This is my fifth reporting fellow in three years
“The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands...may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.” —James Madison
Trump is acting here as a private citizen while exploiting the office to unofficially coerce govt institutions into giving him and his family obscene amounts of American taxpayer cash.
'Official acts' immunity will therefore not protect him for this brazen corruption.
They should all be jailed.

Close-up of three roses on a green stem in a garden. Two blooms on the left are yellow with orange edges, full and layered, while the bloom on the right is pink with lighter streaks and a partially open center showing stamens. Soft-focus background of soil and greenery.

DEARDEN: I have Ehlers-Danlos, which is a hypermobility disorder. So, on set, we don’t have chairs. We have a family room we’re allowed to go to sometimes, but it’s seven and a half hours of standing. COON: Wow. You might as well be a waitress. DEARDEN: He’s like a chiropractor kinesiologist and there’s no cracking, ever. It’s about finding the line of muscle or nerve. So, if my shoulder hurts, it’s because of my right hip. It’s bizarre and so necessary and I wish I had more time to go to him. In the first season, we did one leg on the gurney CPR and I started walking and my hips were completely crooked. I remember walking and he goes, “Don’t tell me, one leg on the bed CPR?” And I was like, “Yes.”
Just read this interview with Taylor Dearden, and celebrities promoting chiropractors for chronic illness issues is so dangerous.
No legit doctor who treats chronic illness will recommend you go to a chiropractor. www.interviewmagazine.com/film/taylor-...
Bulls..t! Alabamians need to ask themselves if they want a governor who wants to end social security? Tuberville makes a fortune playing the stock market on inside Senate information but clearly doesn’t have a clue how Alabama seniors worked hard…

This quick pastel drawing of a volunteer sitter at a life drawing session is from one of the occasions when the usual model didn't turn up. It must be from >30 years ago and has got smudge marks from other pastels in the folder. I don't know remember her name but it has a sculptural solidity with which I am very pleased. She looks stoical as she keeps still for maybe 15 minutes. I'll post other examples of volunteer models. Some brave souls taking their turn stripped off (I was one of them!)
After about 50 yrs of life drawing (i.e. the "undraped figure" as it used to be termed) I have many drawings done when the model didn't turn up and members of the class took turns with their clothes on. I'm rather pleased with this quick pastel of one such volunteer (see alt text)

An investigation has been opened by House Democrats into criminal slumlord Jared Kushner for falsely operating as a negotiator whilst corruptly securing billions of dollars in dark monry investments for himself.
Good, finally.

Oh my GOD, #Outlander. Yeah I’ve read the books multiple times. No, I wasn’t prepared.
Healthcare is a right.
You shouldn’t have to earn it.
It shouldn’t be dependent on employment or economic status.
It shouldn’t be something you have to fight for.
It shouldn’t be something that leaves you in debt for life.
Universal healthcare saves lives.

Yet another sad reminder that there is a two-tiered justice system in America: One for the rich. Another for everyone else.
Clarence Thomas ruled in favor of Citizens United.
Harlan Crow's political contributions then went up 862%.
Then we later find out Thomas let Crow take him on lavish trips, buy his mom's house, and help fund his wife's conservative nonprofit.
But go on about how "progressivism" is a problem...
He is shaking the piggy bank, weekly.
