If anything, liking 2/10 videos I saw on fuse/vh1/mtv before and after school in the mornings helped me expand my musical tastes, discover new bands and sounds, and learn the excitement of when a song I DID already like was played.

Several of those terms contradict each other. Socialism exists on the premise that there is a government present to mete out policy and resources, decisions made by the many/all and resources distributed by/for all based on need. Like, do these people even hear themselves?

Today is National School Librarian Day. THANK YOU, school librarians & school library workers. We celebrate you. For so many library kids, the school library is the only place they have access to books. It is where they learn to believe that stories are for them. Thank you for your library joy 💛📚🥹🤟🏽

Are we really surprised that “people who fetishize queer people (especially mlm ones)” and “people who generally don’t know how to act” is a circle instead of a Venn diagram? Because this is so predictable to me lol

Black text on a white background that reads: Call your representatives and let them know you DO NOT support House Bill 7661, which seeks to ban books about gender and trans lives in school AND public libraries nationwide. Under the fake concern of "protecting" children.
They vote in the house on Tuesday. It was introduced by a Republican congresswoman in Illinois. We need national pressure. It's urgent; call, don't email.

So, I have ADHD. After a few years of wondering, I finally got (thoroughly) screened for ADHD. And I feel a little emotional about the results.

I'm not sure about you, but I think the collapse of US hegemony, a global price spike and recession, and a new ground war in the Middle East are far worse than drag queens reading books at the library.

Of note; I’ve also had bipolar II for 10 years and that diagnosis has always fit, but this new information makes so many things make sense for the larger span of my life.

I was formally and officially diagnosed (by an outstanding mental health professional, probably my favorite one in all my years of diagnosis and medication) with ADHD today.

It feels like I can breathe.

The US reportedly waited to strike the bridge in Iran a second time until rescue workers and others in the area gathered to help the wounded, which then killed at least eight people. Authorities in Iran are describing it as an act of terrorism.

My sister has MPS3-A, and it’s so rare I don’t see people with it often on socials. This made me smile 💜

I’m unable to make #SHAPEKC this week, but if you’re there, I’d love to connect about anti-fat bias, weight stigma and diet culture in HPE education! My book is live! ❤️ @shapeamerica.bsky.social
