Tariff refunds unlikely to benefit consumers, CNBC CFO Council survey finds Although the government could pay billions of dollars in tariff refunds, consumers shouldn't expect to see money back, according to a CNBC CFO Council survey.

Of course not. Any tariff refunds to corporations will become extra profits for them. And those of us who paid the tariffs directly when receiving a package from overseas won't see a dime back. The corrupt protect the corrupt. www.cnbc.com/2026/04/13/t...

No. Absolutely no. But with the Trump admin, if the CEO's pay enough bribes, who knows what will happen.

Your Tax Day reminder that trickle-down economics is a cruel hoax designed to enrich the wealthy and corporations while draining money for the middle class and the poor.

Don't let billionaires fool you into thinking we shouldn't tax the rich.

Mike Johnson on the Pope: "If you wade into political waters, you should expect some political response & the Pope has received some. Frankly I was taken a bit aback by him saying something about 'those who engage in war, Jesus doesn't hear their prayers' or something. There's 'just war' doctrine.'"

There is a giant rock out there for Mike Johnson to crawl under. What an idiot. Whatever religion he practices or believes in, I want no part of it.

Although I no longer consider myself Catholic, or religious for that matter, I am 100% with Team Pope over Team Trump!!!!!

Don't let the door hit you in the ass as you leave, Orban. No change that; I hope the door knocks the shit out of you. Pathetic human being. Another great job by JD Vance as well! What a clown.

I spent 33+ years working for DoD. In no way can I support a $1.5 Trillion budget. That number is insane, and DoD has no way of spending it in an effective manner. I can defend $700-900 billion, as the DoD's mission is diverse and critical to the country. But I cannot fathom the $1.5T.

It’s never been more clear that Donald Trump has completely lost his mind.

It’s our responsibility to call on Congress, the military, and any sane individual in this administration to stop him from committing war crimes against the Iranian people.

Pile on. It's fair criticism. And it can't be explained away by saying he's getting less defensive support than LT. Yes, maybe there is some variation, but not enough to account for his truly horrible numbers.
