The parade St. Paul threw to honor Olympic gymnast and hometown heroine Suni Lee had significantly more impressive turnout than Trump's birthday party.
The Powderhorn Mayday parade had more people show up in 2024, when it was unpermitted and unadvertised except by word of mouth.
Tip I learned years ago from a longtime organizer who is also an attorney:
If you are not sure if a person approaching you is a cop, and you do not feel safe, drive to the nearest *fire department* and call 911 and tell them (don't ask) that you're stopping for the cop at a FD.
