An experimental platform combining chess with real-time harmonics. Each move triggers a chord tied to a board position, letting players hear their gameplay. After the game, the full game becomes a continuous chord progression.

The latest offshoot of the “art as scientific method” branch in my studies and research at IT University of Copenhagen, is an audiovisual project for iPhones. Real-time data from air quality measurements creates a soundscape that is visualized using color codes. Pure, ideal air is represented by a clear soundscape, which is obstructed in real time via seven data points (five gases and two particle sizes). It’s an app-based art experience that, through augmented reality, gives the illusion that the user can see and hear the air quality exactly where they are standing and walking.

My latest “art as scientific method” @itu.dk: an app-based art project where real-time air quality data shapes a soundscape, visualized through color codes. Seven data points (gases + particles) distort the ideal sound. AR makes users see and hear air quality around them.
