Today we had to say goodbye to our sweet 16+ year old Muncie. When we went to get our cats from the foster we wanted a different cat. Muncie however decided she wanted us and for the next 16+ years her and her brother Charlie gave us all that love and then some. Hell of a mouse catcher!11/10 Cat

For the first time we made “homemade” pizzas. I used Poco Bera for the dough so it wasn’t truly homemade. For $100 for the premade frozen dough it was well worth the memories and fun!

One of the first things I did with iOS26 was change contrast and display settings to try to minimize liquid glass on notifications. It was so hard to read! Getting old sucks.

I miss twitter only for better customer service. IMO, companies provided better service via social channels opposed to website/chat. Today’s issue - StubHub gave me 2 out of the 3 tickets I ordered and they have the onions to say that my order has been “fulfilled.” I’d rather get 0 tickets than 2/3.

Tied my personal best today with a 75. Most my GIRs were within 15’ of the pin. Missed a 6’ eagle. Defensive putting got me a 75, defensive putting probably cost me a 73.

I took the kids to the driving range for the 1st time. I was surprised that my oldest whom has never swung a club did pretty well. I hit the 100 yard flag on my third shot and stopped there so they could think I was awesome at golf (9.4 hdcp). Mosquitos were brutal but we ripped through 2 buckets!

Holy hell this is spot on. I like the renderings they showed at the board meeting last night that made it look like Savannah, GA. I'm sure the front porch wood decks and unpaved walking paths will be wonderful in the Chicago winters.

This is beyond impressive. I would have thought this administration would still be using AOL Instant Messenger to communicate.

Shot my lowest round ever this weekend, a 75. Reality is Chick is a short course (5,800) and only a par 71. My wedges went cold the last 3 holes, could have been a 72. My handicap is now a 9.2 so I guess that technically means I’m a single digit. I can’t wait to play a hard course and shoot a 110.

Played my first round of golf for 2025 yesterday. 5+ hours, wet conditions, brutal greens. But it was so fun to be out with the guys again on an uncharacteristically nice March day. 79 to start the year was great. More than any swing change, focusing on enjoying the moment has helped me improve.

If the government cared about American’s and truly wanted to be, “America First” they’d bring back the 1990’s Market Day Italian Dippers. Sure, we’d still be a country heading in the wrong direction; but damn it we’d get this delicious circle of grease to soften the blow between tantrums! #America

Yasir al-Rumayyan, Donald Trump to meet with PGA Tour officials Thursday: Sources Jay Monahan, Tiger Woods and Adam Scott are also expected to attend the meeting at the White House, sources briefed on the plans confirmed.

My best guess is they are meeting to discuss a Ukraine surrender.

1 hour into my new personal computer setup and I only have work programs installed and nothing fun. I’m looking forward to the weekend to get some classic #PUBG duos running. Also the power supply on this G16 is a behemoth! My only gripe thus far is no number pad on the keyboard.

Did a pretty cool thing tonight. My wife and I are coaching our twins 5th/6th grade park district basketball team. All players must play equally, but we’ve don’t know who is going to be at each game before the start. I created an app to make equal lineups without players sitting back-to-back.

I've decided to move over to @bluesky permanently at the end of the week and delete my twitter account. https://t.co/9ZiEveY5WY is where I will be at. I hope organizations in the future cross post to BlueSky as well as twitter. Thanks for stopping by! https://t.co/moTNJOou6K

It’s great to see Women’s Volleyball (and other Women’s sports) getting their chance to be on TV more. It’s a shame it took this long and some great athletes missed their window. Young girls seeing female athletes and not just NFL/NBA games is so important.

Bold Thanksgiving moment - nephew Danger asked his aunts and uncles right as dinner finished to all move their cars out of the driveway so he could leave to go to his girlfriend’s. The collective groans better haunt him till Xmas.
