That's made me so much more relaxed for Sunday.

Damn.
Right next to the exit. Lives for the drama.
If you exclude times where it went down to the final day, 5 of the last 6 have been decided by the nearest challenger not winning - including the last 4 in a row.
The last PL title to be won by the 1st place team winning without it being final day was Chelsea 16-17
In the 32 previous Premier League seasons, the title has been confirmed because the nearest challenger failed to win a match 12 times - but 5 of those have been in the last 9 seasons which possibly makes it feel like it's more common.
Maybe. If it's Chelsea my guess is they've just blown everyone out of the water with the contract offered.
So two things on the latest Dean Huijsen development.
1. If the player wants Chelsea over Liverpool then he's not the player we want anyway.
2. The report comes from Mig Delaney. He's a good egg who does good work but I don't think I've ever seen one of his transfer stories come to fruition.
Hopefully Forest keep going and I guess Newcastle too?
Especially as City have not been this vulnerable in years.
Villa a little too defensive for my liking here. Never really had a cohesive plan to hurt City.
City subs will win this for them.
Ange Losthisjoblou?
Suspect we'll go with 5 forwards next season. The kid will just take Chiesa's place in the squad.
I really like him. Strikes me as the player Klopp hoped Oxlade-Chamberlain could be for us.
But if it's Ibou out, Huijsen in I am not a fan of that. It would have to be Ibou AND Gomez or Quansah out, Huijsen and another solid, experienced option in.
I'm not sure it's possible to replace him when he's at his best. But you could probably sign someone that gets you 7/10 every week rather than Ibou's 8 or 9/10 most weeks, with the odd 5/10 dropped in. Someone like Guehi might make sense then.
When Ibou is at it, there probably isn't a better partner for Virg in Europe. That being said, he is prone to a headloss. First 5 minutes at Craven Cottage. Bizarre misplaced passes at King Power. He has it in him.
If Konate does go then I think Liverpool would have to do another centre half with more experience. A steady presence. You can't go into a new season with Virg, Huijsen and the other two.
These suggestions that Huijsen would be replacing Konate rather than coming in as a viable 3rd option are very concerning. He has huge potential but he's not at Ibou's level yet and he's a very different type.
Please be this shit on Sunday. Of course they won't.
Time for a young, sexy Pope.
Why couldn't you make this easy you bastards?
Have a feeling we'll concede here.
Konate has shit himself 3 or 4 times today.
He's supposed to be incredible btw.
If the child scores, give it to Arsenal.
The entire warchest on a forward line.
Watch him get booked for a second yellow now.
