During 2009, when I was "retired" from YTP, Waxonator's "Walt Disney's Link: The Faces of Evil" trailer nonetheless inspired me to make one for Dr. Rabbit. I only ever shared it with friends. Here's a small peek; I still have the whole thing, but this is probably the only funny bit.

A mid-century style painting of Patrick Star about to eat a four leaf clover. The inside of the clover is made up of a bunch of mini-Patricks. There are four images with different green-ish color palettes.

Warning: profanity
A photo in the booklet for the official 1993 Super Mario Compact Disco album contains a profane shirt in a photo that likely slipped through due to be being printed so small that it requires extreme zooming in to view the swear.

By the way, can someone tell me exactly what was going in that vacuum bag? I think I know, but I'd prefer to have someone else verify 'cause hoo boy...

(masterfully animated by Grim Natwick)

funny thing is, most of the censored flip shorts were of things that could be considered very tame today, like thumbing one's nose or gags involving chamberpots. cuts in theatrical prints usually just involved those things. i'd love to see contemporary reviews for cartoons like room runners though

✨IT’S A SUPER MAR10 DAY!✨

I did a piece inspired by the Mario Compact Disco song, “Go, Mario, Go!” as well as the Japanese Mario song that goes by the same name!

🍄 Have a wonderful Mar10 day! 🍄

From Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse Color Sundays Vol. 1: Rumplewatt the Giant

Rumplewatt storms into a room, Mickey hiding behind a kettle.

Rumplewatt: Fee! Fo! Fum! Fie! I smell the blood of a little guy! He's hiding somewhere in this house! Sniff! Sniff! It smells like Mickey Mouse!

Mickey: Gosh!

Was rewatching Rodrick Rules (goated film btw) and I noticed the cool sheet music covers that were on display in the theater lobby scenes, and I (predictably) couldn’t help but wonder if they had any of Grim Natwick’s covers in there

TIL that Honey’s voice actress from the 1941 Fleischer film, “Mr. Bug Goes To Town”. Pauline Loth, was also a noted cartoonist & animator! With her older sister, Dottie, working at Terrytoons in New Rochelle around the same period!

I want a live action remake of Robin Hood where it's actually part of that weird subseries of remakes where the villain of the original is actually MISUNDERSTOOD and the original heroes are actually THE REAL VILLAIN or a BUFFOON. Something to really resonate with our current climate, y'know

ever notice how every giant fandom becomes a toxic cesspool full of drama and resentment towards the creator of the work they're all obsessing over, hmm almost like centering your life around a piece of media is not healthy

Black and white art of Snoopy dressed as Guts from Berserk, swinging a sword through a bunch of skeleton soldiers. There’s a white logo that says “Snoopy.”

Shortly before the release of MOTHER2, Famitsu Game Catalog held an interview with Shigesato Itoi. When asked about how MOTHER2 connects with the first game, Itoi stated that Giygas was like a larvae in MOTHER1 and was now a fully grown adult in MOTHER2.

I always enjoy it when Woody Woodpecker sings in an operatic voice.
