Not for nothin', but here's an article on how then Cardinal Prevost was among the "papabili".

Yeah and we had no way of knowing that. I mean, we hardly saw Trump for those four years. Before the election these guys should have to appear in public before large crowds and give speeches about what they want to do. /s

He won’t make it to 2028 and if he does, he won’t be compos mentis.

Because you don’t need a navy to enforce a blockade. Or to fight a navy. Ask Ukraine.

This is it, isn’t it? It’s been since 2015. So if you were, say, 13 then, you’re 24 now. Trump, covid…what’s your baseline for normal?

No, that’s what I mean. That happens to me on occasion. Not sure why, but it doesn’t affect anything but the preview image.

What’s happening is only that you’re not getting the page preview. The link still works fine and it’s clearly retrieved the page.

Just saw my first Kweku Garbrah citation in the wild. In a book that also cites my undergrad mentor and me. Weird confluence. #IFYKYK

There’s a very real non-zero chance that Trump won’t survive until the end of his term. If he were smart enough to write up pardons beforehand, we might find out what SCOTUS thinks of that.

But I’m not sure I would trust him to stick to his word in any case.

Those niches are meant for statues, as the blank rectangular areas are meant for reliefs. A chariot is the traditional crowning statue type.

And is that the Statue of Liberty with wings up there?!? 🤦🏽‍♂️

Like all House members, he is up for re-election this year. His seat needs to be filled by special election which would take months. It’s a plus-20 Dem district, so no risk really of losing it.
