Nothing is over, that is the only certainty.
The other certainty is that everything ends, even this.

Cool so what happens if GOP attach a national abortion ban to a CR? You'll vote for that too?

Got a printer? You can start fighting fascism. Here's a thread of things you can print and distribute. 👇
I promise doing something--even this--feels better than raging silently. And maybe it'll show you that standing up is possible and open you up to more things you can do.

Should 'aiding' or 'abetting' a homeless camp be illegal? It might soon be a reality in this Bay Area city
The move is alarming California activists who worry they could be placed in the ordinance’s crosshairs for helping their homeless neighbors.
Not only is Fremont, CA voting on an ordinace that makes it illegal to be homeless, but it also targets volunteers with jail if they "aid and abet" anyone who is homeless.
They're literally trying to jail anyone who helps those with no place to live.

According to two league sources, Sunday’s game between the Chiefs and Eagles will mark the first time since February 2021 that “End Racism” is not included as a message in the back of a Super Bowl end zone.

The State
However much we wish it so, everything does not change in a moment.
The sedative present, tugging, sucking, and many-voiced, timelessly
freights the mind. There will be no more marking of days. Under your
right arm, a memory crutch, under your left, the future, a failure kicked
out upon waking. But as punishment you can still dream. A nursing
infant, the birds you have killed, a hill so steep your ascent of it leaves
your lover struggling beneath you. Each night in houses you can never
return to you leave your promise behind.
But as punishment you can still dream.
