On this day in History, April 19, 1775, the American Revolution begins at the Battles of Lexington & Concord… www.history.com/this-day-in-...
Can’t there be some sort of lawsuit or something to stop this now?!
A photo of two lanterns shining from Old North Church's steeple in Boston.
On this night 251 years ago, two men climbed Old North Church's steeple. They held high two lanterns as a signal from Paul Revere that the British were heading to Concord by way of the Charles River.
Their famous “one if by land, two if by sea” warning ignited the American Revolution.

Trying to think… are there any big environmental stars, athletes, spokespeople etc. who could do a video
etc. that could go viral & raise more awareness? Highlight their beauty & heritage then show some of effects of neglect(Esp on 250th bday coming up!) I think many ppl don’t even know…
I hear you… I just keep thinking we cannot let this happen… and keep our voices & advocacy going…
#OnThisDay in 1865, President Abraham Lincoln is shot while watching a play at Ford’s Theatre.

We cannot let this happen… These are all of our lands.. m.youtube.com/watch?v=2Q7P...
Not at the top of the list, but also a distraction from the dismantling of the National Forest Service- and just before fire season..All of our lands~ saveusfs.org?fbclid=IwY2x...
@altnatnlprksvcfan.bsky.social Thank you for all you’re doing - especially working to protect our National Forests! Excellent idea & plan to have companies involved. Seems I remember a large coalition also last year in defense of public lands…brought in anglers & others. 💚
#OnThisDay in 1789, the First Congress under our current Constitution meets in its first joint session in New York and takes up an important order of business: confirming George Washington’s election as president.

Came across this site that tells how it affects each state & region… I found it helpful and informative …morethanjustparks.com/forest-service-dismantle...
It also seems like it could be a good idea to leave comments on their various social media sites too … do you think?
May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven around the heart of wonder.

I remembered there was a coalition of companies joined together to work to protect public lands last year..they & many of the listed companies might be additional resources to help protect our forests ( & National Parks) with current situation.. conservationalliance.com/brands-for-p...
Seriously, WHO and/ or what entities want this? Planned this? The intentional gutting of our country…
The dome of the Library's Jefferson Building as seen through a frame of cherry blossoms. Photo by Shawn Miller.
It still blooms beautifully, despite needing some support. The Library’s trees were transplanted to Capitol Hill in 1922 as the result of necessary thinning of the Tidal Basin grove.
One of the Library's cherry trees, with many of the limbs supported by "crutches" that help keep the very old, lopsided tree standing. Photo by Shawn Miller.
Celebrating SPRING with a reminder that the projected start of peak bloom for Washington’s cherry blossoms is between March 29 and April 1! 🌸
Did you know the two Library of Congress cherry trees are among just a handful of documented originals from the 1912 gift from Japan? Including this one. 🧵⬇️
Happy #StPatricksDay! Did you know that four of America’s Founding Fathers were born in Ireland? ☘️

Seems it discriminates against women, having to take extra steps to register to vote. And, in particular, married women who change their name- so there message is… Don’t get married? Interesting angle…
#OnThisDay in 1959, Congress approves Hawaii for admission to the Union as the 50th state, marking the last time statehood was subject to votes in the House and Senate.
A week later, President Dwight Eisenhower signed the Hawaii Admissions Act.
