Actually hysterically laughing at this. You get the feeling he's about to turn to Ed balls and said "I always did say he was a bit of a cunt, didn't I?"

A few years ago I was at a q&a he did and someone asked if he’d consider being leader again and he said “not with a gun to my head”. I wonder if he’s changed his mind.

Being an interesting and honest exploration of good policy is an outlier of political books by politicians which are usually either hollow, dull, or full mad fascist delusions.

What’s interesting is that Ed’s book - Go Big - seems to actually be an honest expression of his desire to do practical policy especially on climate and fairness. And now he’s putting it into practice.

Free plug-in solar panels to be rolled out to some households The technology is designed to be a simpler and more affordable way of benefiting from renewable energy

I am serious about Ed Miliband. His is literally the only department doing anything useful.

One of my biggest worries about the prospect of a reform government is that they will tear down every solar farm and wind farm that they can get their hands on. Anything this government can do to make that harder for them is a good thing.

Chaos with a side of Ed Miliband. ✨

Genuinely good news. The Miliband agenda could be the best thing this government does. So long as we keep fighting for this kind of thing.

Labour’s great green energy plan could be a legacy as vital as the NHS | Polly Toynbee Ed Miliband has a rare chance to do for the climate what Nye Bevan did for health: create something future generations will be proud of, says Guardian columnist Polly Toynbee

Ed Miliband has a rare chance to do for the climate what Nye Bevan did for health: create something future generations will be proud of. But will time be running out for his government?

I just want to alleviate concerns for all my authors and prospective authors that I have never used ChatGPT, never shared anything AI, worked really hard to avoid every aspect of it, and will ABSOLUTELY NEVER upload your novels to any AI function.

I am a slow reader, but it me. I am the reader.

Reform want women to be pregnant & in the Kitchen but
they don't want workers to be Paid enough for that to happen as today's couples need 2 incomes to be able to raise kids unlike the past where a Union job paid enough

Worried all this Peter Mandelson business is going to distract from whatever the hell Keir Starmer's policy agenda is, and could undermine confidence in him with his supporter.

The orphan-crushing machine is just a tool. You can also use it to mulch puppies and purée kittens.

Why are you angry? You can use it for harmless tasks like making mashed potatoes. You eat mashed potatoes don't you? Yes, admittedly it leaks machine oil into the potatoes, but they're working on that. It leaks so much less oil than it did when you tried it three months ago. In a year from now it's going to be a Michelin-starred chef.

Well, that’s typical, gatekeeping by telling people they should have to learn to cook. You don’t think people who can’t cook deserve good food?

So what if the machine is powered by slave labor? That's innovation. You're just scared you're going to be one of them. Besides, it's inevitable. Nobody is going to crush orphans by hand any more. You're going to get left behind.

Oh, well there you go with your ridiculous purity culture again.

I think it’s misguided to think the fandom around Corbyn necessarily translated to having friends. One of the major problems Corbyn had was a lack of friends within the PLP. (Not zero by any means, but fewer than most leaders and he struggled to get people on side and keep them there).

Furthermore, I can’t see the renewables progress being unpicked by a future leader. If anything, Ed Miliband’s work on this front will probably only grow under the new leadership of someone like Rayner.
That being said, actually, under Streeting I’d be less certain as he’s an awful person.
