I know that I've been a creator for a bit and I'm just getting old in general, when I see posts regarding drama about streamers/youtubers, and my first thought is "Who the fuck are these people?" 😂

Not surprised TikTok is losing live viewership. It's the frustrating to use, makes using their clunky tools the priority, and pay-to-grow is pervasive.

It doesn't help viewers find who they want, nor builds a culture. Prioritizes novelty over community. Gets attention, not retention.

Every few years a crop of streaming sites pop-up, last a bit, get some spotlight, fall off, and close down.

I get asked on why I made a VTuber. Three reasons:

1. I work a ton and have chronic migraines. So, I can make stuff, without a lighting setup.

2. Try something new, in my way. I don't have a persona. I'm still me.

3. Cause I wanted to and in the end, that's all that matters.
