Which makes sense to me. You won't know how to treat someone right off the bad sure. So you treat them with kindness, be a good person. And if something you do makes them uncomfortable then apologize and don't do it again. And they will do the same for you. It takes their feelings into consideration

I read the book the Bobiverse series, and in one of the books they talk about that. Instead of that being the golden rule, it was referred to as the silver rule. Because not everyone wants to be treated like you are. Instead the golden rule is "treat others the way THEY want to be treated".

I'm studying to be a research anthropologist. Sample size is so important. Like I talked to my local senator about something and the forst thing they pointed out was the sample size of the research I was using as a base for my argument. Make sure you know the sample size!

How soon is too soon to ask people if they want to do something for my birthday? Like I want them to have a heads up so they can make time for it, but also I don't want to be weird about it.
