I went in again to see what they were up to and closet door was open a bit (maybe bc the cleaners were here today?) so I shut it and Davey immediately was like HOW DARE YOU and was pawing at it and trying to pry it open… if that guy learns to open real doors…. 😬
It’s just funny bc I went to the guest room to grab some laundry and I didn’t even realize Davey was in there!! I have literally only ever seen him there when it’s the sunny spot that he stole from Lexie

I love both of those for sure!! I’m making my book club read all of us murderers this month so I can reread. 😹 Death in the Spires is another one with great characters and a solid mystery. I remember liking the Magpie ones too. I do really like the one I’m reading now and would rec it!

I was all, why did I never read KJ Charles’ Sins of the Cities series? And it’s bc one of the guys in this first one is a taxidermist and there is a LOT of detail and my delicate vegetarian sensibilities (lol) are STRUGGLING (otherwise it’s great so far!)
