Over the weekend, Liverpool stepped back in time, welcoming film crews working on the upcoming drama series Kennedy.
The serieslooks at the famous Kennedy family, beginning with the rise of Joseph Kennedy (played by Michael Fassbender) and Rose Kennedy (played by Laura Donnelly) during the 1930s.

At 3:06pm, today, we fall silent to honour the 97 we lost at Hillsborough.
Mersey Ferries will hold the 3pm sailing and sound its horn at start & end of the minute silence.
Traffic at Mersey Tunnels and calls to our Contact Centre will be held also.

As the Royal Iris of the Mersey marked her final journey after nearly 66 years of service last weekend, we caught up with the people who know her best — the crew and staff who have worked onboard and behind the scenes for many years. ⛴️💙
