Team Meeting!
Exhibitor submissions coming in thick and fast unlike the Analysis Paralysis players we know and love!
How many times did we say "That sounds like a Greg problem?"
Tag your answers and who you want to see at Tabletop Scotland!

When trust is eroded, even accidentally, people feel hurt.
We don't want people to feel hurt.
We want them to be having fun and celebrating the fantastic things that creatives create.
And obviously to have hugs, because hugs are awesome.
7/5
Dave again. Quick follow on.
A lot of the industry / hobby acts on an implied level of *trust* between the different 'actors' involved.
It's part of what makes it, by and large, a positive place to interact with people in.
6/5
But it'll be a civil conversation that grown ups and friends have.
Not one laced with the sorts of emotions that social media almost wants / expects at times.
Hope that helps.
5/5
But we will apply scrutiny as part of the exhibitor application process to determine if AI is part of their products.
If we ultimately find that an exhibitor is selling AI leveraged products then we'll have a conversation.
4/5
Re: Stock Art and Type Faces.
We're obviously not going to scan every piece of content that creators have in their products, not least because AI detection tools are inconsistent at best.
There are a lot of fantastic artists out there who produce stock art after all. Including free PD art.
3/5
Mistakes will be made, and they will be learned from.
Will we ensure GMs understand our position on AI on the basis that they have a choice about what to do _next time_?
Yes.
And by choice we mean to find alternative routes to avoid using AI in the future.
2/5
Dave here again, solid questions Paul. I'd expect nothing less.
This is the start of a broader conversation in many respects.
Are we going to scrutinise what every GM puts on a table and then remove their game from the schedule during the con if they use AI to generate some images?
No.
1/5
Likewise, although that Chris guy sometimes...
It was actually in exhibitor Ts&Cs in 2025 that we didn't permit AI. We just didn't shout about it, and did background checks as required.
Now? Well now we've made it more prominent.
And this - tabletopscotland.co.uk/blog/we-say-...
Dave here. I mean we don't / didn't have an AI Policy to use the term you've used.
Last year we introduced a quiet ban on AI for our exhibitors, it was in their Ts&Cs and as submissions came in we scrutinised them to see if AI was part of their product range.
This year, we've made that more visible.
