I have a new hobby — designing crossword puzzles.

For the past year, Iʻve been on a hiatus from map-making. I got a new job, and in my downtime I started experimenting as a “crossword constructor.”

I had my first published puzzle in the NYT in February. My second is out today.

I had a go at making some #NFL drive charts! I'm really pleased with how they turned out.

I wanted to go with something that felt a bit more minimal (I am forever inspired by @barelymaps.bsky.social) and believe it or not, this was the more minimal version...
