Ideally, I will be able to use the same UI on both Desktop and Android to just find people regardless of their server?

I'm looking into migrating / mirroring my account onto another server so as to not be reliant on Bluesky (they seem like assholes)

I'm not sure where to start. Do I need to be aware of any specific protocols, any standardized stuff?
Are there multiple clients? Are there "Good ones"?
