We have started our “Scotland” topic ahead of Burns Night this Sunday. During play we explored Tartan and made our own!

This morning we learnt what an acrostic poem is. We explored synonyms and adjectives to describe snow and created our own poems! Super work ❄️

As part of ‘Future Me’ we looked at how we can get jobs in the future. We learnt new, big words like “application” and “qualifications” while looking at career paths. We reflected on our own interests and qualities to complete a CV for our future jobs 👍 @antorightsps.bsky.social

As part of our Space topic we have been learning about day and night. We studied what light is and made puppets for our Shadow Puppet station! We can’t wait to play with them tomorrow 🔦🎭

Today we broke down our spelling words into sounds in Elkonin Boxes!

I am so proud of the pupils in P2! During our Colourful Semantics lesson pupils were learning to self-assess their sentences by highlight their Who, Doing, What, Where to the corresponding colours! Such super work☺️

We enjoyed watching an Author Live with Rachel Bright! The Gecko and the Echo is one of our favourite class books, we enjoyed drawing Goldie ✍️

Firework provocations 🎆
Pupils practiced their spelling words by making fireworks in the sky and AG extended her learning by making a beautiful firework picture containing the 2 times table! 🎇
