The highly religious are also highly vulnerable to con jobs. They are conditioned to believe a lot of things without evidence and the con men rub their hands with glee.
Today is the 251st anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops.
I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III.
Remind you of anyone?
They should pay for their Gaza and Lebanon damages.
In the meantime, Iran posted this:
When it was available over the counter as an inhaler in AB decades ago, it was cheap.
This is awesome. I used to have a cat allergy and epinephrine was available non-prescription in AB as an inhaler and I rarely used it, but it was amazing when I did need it.
They pay taxes in Canada. The $ drain is in the shareholder dividends.
The Pope and Dope War.
Anyone who fears ICE will say they approve.
At least they didn't make you pay for the FIFA Peace Prize, at least not directly.
True. Nightmare "negotiations" ahead. My expectations of a reasonable outcome is nearly zero.
As the old saying goes: "hang'im, then give'im a fair trial. ๐
It looks like he was badly educated on how to drink water from a glass.
The battery ranges can also be connected for back-up power and can be charged at off peak rates.
I am load-shifting right now and the range is my only major challenge so I might have to break down and buy one of those battery ranges.
There are so many actions that can be taken without blowing a hole in the budget, but they seem pretty distracted on climate. We are seeing the same thing in BC at the provincial level. They think climate action is too expensive. Nonsense, I have a long list.
I have been saying the same thing for some time, particularly with load management systems....makes it easy.
Low load devices too. My heat pump washer/dryer just plugs into a 15 amp circuit. My heating/cooling heat pump calls for a maximum of 25 amps. Hybrid ranges: 15 amps.
He is making a good case for a "not guilty by reason of insanity" plea.
Could be a mistake, or it could be Avi being Avi. I'm leaning to the latter.
He is going to have difficulty getting elected into Parliament. He has a losing track record and he is making it worse.
He has been around politics since birth and still doesn't understand that he needs to project respect to people, whether he respects them or not.
This demonstrates how the O&G industry has the AB govt under its thumb at the expense of people's health.
At least he should be gaining some understanding of the benefits of electrifying everything. He's not particularly bright, so maybe not either.
That's a point that needs to be made more often.
True. While technically a POTUS has much more executive power than a CDN PM in their respective countries, in actual practice, a majority PM is more powerful.
I told my kids and now my grandkids: "if you get separated and in trouble, run to the nearest woman, not the nearest man." I know that their chances of safety with a random woman is exponentially higher than a random man.
It is disappointing. Avi can't advocate for anti-market solutions in a market economy. Oil companies aren't dictating the prices, it is supply and demand.
That said, a windfall profit rule for all corporations in price spikes is something to consider.
I suspect this is going to be a "Where's Waldo?" hunt.
You better get that white board and and explain how farm workers don't deserve the same respect as other workers.
I think if I didn't want to means test, I would ask for them to self-declare. Might weed out some freeloaders and the truly needy will self-declare.
