It's not a coincidence that pro-AI people often compare creating something VS AI with washing dishes yourself VS using the dishwashers.
They don't think of creating something as being meaningful and pleasurable on its own, but as a chore whose only part that matters is the end result.
Survey question: âDo you think people should have a right to know whether a text was written by AI or a human?â 99.5% - Yes 0.5% - No
Fortunately, thereâs one point on which we found near unanimous agreement: AI content should be clearly đlabeled đ
Survey question: âHave you ever felt your own work could be mistaken for AI-generated content?â 45.4% - Yes. 54.6%- No
This one came as a bit of a shock: nearly half of respondents felt their work could be mistaken for AIâŚ
âHow important is it to you that a piece of writing is authored by a human.â 94.4% - very important. 2.5% - somewhat important. 0.1% - not important.
We love this one. Almost every single one of you believe that human provenance is a must. (And we couldnât agree more.)
Survey Question: âWhat is your main reason for avoiding AI content?â 34.8% - because I value human-created work. 33.2% - Ethical concerns (e.g. training data). 25.5% - AI content is lower quality. 3.6% - other. 2.8% - depends on context. 0.2% - I donât think about it much.
âŚthe reasons for the aversion were more or less evenly shared across the board.
Survey Question: "Do you actively avoid content you suspect is AI generated?" Yes - 97.8% No - 2.2%
First thingâs first⌠AI generated content is remarkably unpopular.

Personally, I would say that âa lot was learned from The Last JediâŚâ
I hate Al and I refuse to use it Peter, if you don't use Al a bunch of super rich men will lose a lot of money I already said I hated Al Harry, you don't need to sell it to me
Worf and guinan phaser fighting
Okay but if itâs Worf, a high stakes phaser battle IS the hobby
Absolutely incredible.
NASA Astronaut Reid Wiseman, who commanded Artemis II, took this footage from the far side of the Moon with his iPhone.
Watch with sound on.
First they came 2
God help you
Some guy accused me of spreading misinformation. What does he think I am, an AI?
eventually he was executed
This is single handedly the funniest scene from any Star Trek
Except for that one time where the creator tried to do something different and everyone got really angry and wouldnât stop complaining about how he ruined their childhoodsâŚ
extremely funny that the Star Wars fandom has finally come full circle and is now ADDING cgi VFX shots to their fan edits of the original trilogy (excellent video btw!!!)
That being said Requiem scared me more than any game in the entire franchise with the possible exception of RE2 remake which is the most terrifying game I have ever played in my life
Thereâs different tiers of horror. I know people who donât like horror, and they view a âLee Croninâs The Mummyâ in the same category as a âFriday the 13thâ. Sure, one is scarier than the other, but both scary. Us horror fans can have fun with a âlightâ horror, but they would just see it as âhorrorâ
Honestly I relate, trans people are awesome, itâs so validating to be able to choose your gender, even if itâs the one you were assigned at birth đłď¸ââ§ď¸
Love how this implies that the alien queen survived the vacuum of space and made her way back home
You trademarked it? Does this mean Iâm stealing from you if I donât pay you a fee when I nap today?
Anyone who isnât under the age of 12 finds MrBeast dull and annoying
The fact they invited Dan Olsen and Doug Walker to a wine and dine to ask them âhow do you build fandomâ shows how desperate they are. Markiplier has a fraction of Jimmyâs subscriber base, yet his fandom is 10 times as loyal, so itâs worth infinitely more.
That (ironically) is exactly why he will never to be as ubiquitously popular as he appears to be
On #SupermanDay Iâd like to share why, in these divided and xenophobic times, Zack Snyderâs immigrant-coded Superman perhaps deserves a reappraisal.
