My rule of thumb has been I Gemini for anything I would have used Google for previously, and check its sources with medical info. "Help me plan a trip to ____” is just 5 different Google searches. "What is this bird?" Is a Google Lense query+Google search of the results after to get info on it.

This 💯. It's a great starting point for some things. It's a tool. I have no doubt that "AI Everything" is gonna get scaled way way back and there will be downsizing, but underneath the hype of the companies is a groundbreaking way to interact with information.
