Ran to get a link to the Aquabats' "Worms Make Dirt," and did not like being confronted with the fact that this album is from over a quarter century ago:

#Artsky: Marisa is recommended. I can testify to that.
I was pondering on some kind of comedic way to express that this is my exact "plan," but, man, it's like I just don't have the energy to sugarcoat shit anymore.
Are these available to a US market? If so, how?
I do love how the Residuals Tavern in Studio City, CA, provided a free beer to any performer who brought in a check for less than $1 from reruns of TV shows or movies. That's solidarity with charm. I wish you similar goodwill on this planet.

I just want contact to be reestablished with that recovered footage from the movie "Event Horizon."
Bonus points for if the Artemis crew smuggled up prosthetic makeup to recreate it live.
Somewhere in a cardboard box I've got a VHS tape I recorded in the 80s of the telemetry of a Space Shuttle mission that a UHF or cable station livecast past midnight. I can't articulate why I found its existence so reassuring at the time, but this mission tracker is scratching all those same itches.
Happy Easter

My Bats?
Aqua.
The genre of Hobo Porn is called "Bindlestiffies."
Add to that dialogue if you do Background Extra gigs; one knows it's expected that you may need to provide a variety of costume looks and accessory props to bring to set for consideration. On top of that, if that's your thing, you likely can only afford a studio apartment with street parking, so...
It me.
No, really.
Thanks for articulating this!
My own manuscript has that same mechanic, Sad Bastard & all, except for chapters 2-4 that is placed First Person Past to get Backstory, and then the transition to First Person Present announces the indication It's Now On.

Please tell me you've seen this: "Why 'Labyrinth' is Secretly About Masturbation."
"...But do you have time to talk about David Bowie's dick?"
"[sigh]... You have only thirteen hours."

It's Halfway to Halloween, so a bunch of us ScareActors commemorated the time with a family reunion meetup at Knott's in anticipation.
I am in one of the "Behind the Masks" interviews at the 25:43 mark here:

"I'm going to give you such a hard sustained jostling!!"
A coupla years ago I was walking in my semisuburban enclave when a skunk hopped up on a retaining wall not a meter from me & flanked me at my speed and my response was an extremely polite "....heyyyyy, buddy." So, yeah, I know my inevitable fates both mortal & otherwise. It's not the fate of heroes.
Thank you! I give a little more of my portfolio background that includes that very item in a blog I did back in 2012 in which I designed concepts for a Haunt Attraction based on "Weird Al" Yankovic's song "Nature Trail to Hell." It got me a job!

A child's drawing from 1979 depicting the lobby and loading queue for a "Super Train Testing Center" Thrill Ride Concept. A dispatch tunnel to the left of the image has a cramped and nigh-impossible overhead turn of a covered coaster track directed by the encroachment of the border of the page. A sunken maintenance bay dangerously has no safety rails. The entry queue is shamefully non-ADA compliant. There are thematically supported control input devices suggesting a test facility on a wall panel, but many are inaccessibly high off the deck. A sluice labeled "REJECT" in a clunky digital typeface that would occasionally feed damaged train parts into a bin, suggesting to anxious guests in line that there could by deadly consequences for embarking upon this journey. An overhead claw device on a rail could take detritus from this bit and dump it into a pit behind the loading dock, which is another hazard in itself. It is unseen here, but the canopies on the train cars would blow off by explosive bolts midway through the ride. It is all totally rad and any kid would kill and die to ride it.
When I was nine, I did Concept Design for a "Super Train"-themed rollercoaster because I saw an ad in the paper for this show, saw train tracks, thought "rollercoaster," felt love, and let my brain go.
I couldn't have known buzzwords like "Cross-Promotional Synergy" at the time, but I could ken it.
I'm trying a therapy technique of mentally being kinder to myself by imagining my mind interacting with my psyche as if it was taking care of a cherished pet, but it only picks me up in order to dress it in silly costumes.
L.A.: We all see how major national news outlets have Fallen Down On The Job, so it's critical, now more than ever, to support local on-the-ground investigative journalism.

It me.
every shot-on-video, made-with-a-camcorder horror movie that's just some teenage friend group fucking around in the woods with some fake blood and a monster mask contains more artistic merit, human joy and creative light than anything AI has ever made or will ever, ever make
"Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die" does the magic trick of being simultaneously the bleakest satire, a hilarious romp, a chilling horror, & a complete mindfuck. Best way I can describe the action is as if Boots Riley directed an episode of Rick & Morty. It's a lot. Go in blind.

Right there with you. I don't know whether I can "Like" this or Save this as a reliquary for the Death of an Industry, so lemme do both.
Oh Gods, is this where we are? Commemorating our oblivion, praying to an algorithm in Your stead in service of Salvation? Do You not see your subjugation?
Catherine O'Hara, Bud Cort, MULTIPLE others dying recently... Motherfucker, I hate that I have an AntiRationalist inclination toward Magical Thinking and Yin/Yang "Balance of the Universe" shit, but y'all, we are all OWED a massive scale of Death invited upon the US Administration and its enablers.
I was going to respond with a post of a GIF of Eleanor on "The Good Place" reacting to a clown gliding by by saying "This is the Bad Place!" with Chidi reacting with a "Shhh!" but the archives here on Bluesky are woefully insufficient.

I'm suddenly imagining Issac Chotiner shaped like an Anubis weighing hearts and souls against a feather of Ma'at.
