At the risk of realising Gullible was NOT written on the ceiling, was that skeet about Bluesky being made with AI NOT an April fools joke?

Warframe is type 1
Might want to have another ready for when he loses and makes a video about it and puts himself in an even worse spot because of it.
I’m 100% convinced that my bullying-people-that-deserve-it skills are so good that if you left me in a room with Elon or Sam Altman for a couple hours I could make them quit the internet. I just need the chance.
Elon Musk, in an attempt to showcase Starlink's mid-air connectivity, livestreamed Path of Exile 2, where he was met with abusive chat messages such as "YOU HAVE NO REAL FRIENDS AND WILL DIE ALONE" on repeat
Elon would be easy I suspect.
I've been quiet about my legal case as I take it very seriously and wish to keep it as separate from my everyday life as possible, but I wanted to give you all an update that provides some context for my commentary. 🧵 (1/10)

The closest I ever get to a power-trip is telling a potential customer (over the phone) that we just ran out of an item while staring at a full shelf of them, just so they don't come in and bother me.
There are voice actors who will voice your stuff for free.
Imma repeat myself for any Dev/Creator that is considering AI.
THERE ARE VOICE ACTORS WHO WILL VOICE YOUR STUFF FOR FREE.
Signed, a voice actor who did voice act FOR FREE for almost NINE YEARS.
Don’t make excuses. Stick to human talent.
Isn't that a character in WH40K?
Ooh. Can I say it then? 'Cause this excuse is horseshit and has been horseshit from the very beginning. "Placeholders" should not be "game ready assets we don't have the rights to use" and an AI generated image should never have been put in the game to begin with.
Really gotta try being funnier on this app.
Im not well researched enough to go on informative rants, nor skilled enough to post regular development updates.
I thought about being the pretty boy, but Im too self-concious to post selfies, so humor it is.
Because 90% took the class for an easy mark. They didn't actually understand what they were talking about. Same goes for these "marketing directors" when they try to talk tech.
Reminds me of when I was in 11th grade creative writing. We had to write short stories and did critiques the following class. Most of the "critiques were "it was good!/I liked it!"
I saw a post by some sales rep that was all "players don't actually mind AI use in games" and was getting pats on the back from other sales reps
Jesus Christ, Linkedin is the largest fucking circlejerk Ive had the misfortune of visiting.
And Im on Reddit.
Im trying to decide if I should:
Plunge headfirst into solo development and just do that for the rest of my career.
Keep bashing my head against the wall that is applying for Sound Design roles.
Or solo dev purely to bolster my Sound Design portfolio.
Tbh at this point I stopped believing the " placeholder that accidentally got shipped" excuse like 4 games ago. It was only a "placeholder" because they got caught not disclosing AI use
oh my god this is extremely funny
And thats why I'm going the solodev route. Specifically that reason and not because I don't know anyone well enough who'd be willing to form a team and work on all the other parts while I do sound design for free.
I think Ive applied to this place before.
I had an AirBnB that was pretty much like this when I went to London: anything broken/bad was the cleaner's fault and money was too tight to comp a night, yet they could manage it if we took down the negative review. Nobody's entitled to a successful business. Thats capitalism baby.

nobody asked for this game but I'm making it anyway 👍🚄
I might get shot for this, but I did not care for "This is How you Lose the Time War", I didn't DNF it like Inkspell, nor was it a slog through like Heretics of Dune, but I just never properly believed the story. Maybe I was the wrong audience for it.
When do you think we'll stop calling networked handheld computers phones? In the expanse they're always like "hand terminals" and in Star Trek they're just radios but they're "communicators"
I don't think we will change to a longer word I think phone means networked handheld computer now
"Netcoms" has that grungy cyberpunk feel to it, wouldn't be opposed to that
I love it how people make videos titled "HOW I MADE [X] GAME IN ONE WEEK!!!!" And then they mention 2 actual functions they used and say "Im not gonna show you everything because I want you to play it and see the full game for yourself"
Brightside: I learned from a very well spoken japanese man on youtube how The Exit 8 achieved it's infinite hallway effect via diagrams and managed to recreate it myself in Unreal. Now I just gotta set it up so it looks seamless
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing people local newspaper reporters are rarified elites instead of ink-stained wretches driving their Honda Civic to a crime scene so you know don’t have to rely on Nextdoor and the police press release.
I havent even begun to make the actual anomalies and I already have a headache. I just wanna make fart.wav and put it in Wwise for a living, is that too much to ask?
