Writing a comic is not the same as drawing one. Drawing it takes 100x more work, pays like shit and is treated like shit. Artists should be first bill and treated like gods.

Text reads: Oh no! I was supposed to be at ECCC but instead I caught the flu! So it's time for a huge shop drop. There's also a doodle of me laying in bed. A collage of various risograph prints, stickers, and a book fill the page.
Folks, I caught the flu this week and won't be able to make it to ECCC. I've just dropped a bunch of new/con exclusive stuff on my online shop to help make up for the loss, and you can get 15% off til 3/15 if you use the code "BOOFLU"

*saying affirmations in the mirror* I am a big horse. I am a beautiful horse with powerful legs. I am fifteen hands tall. No one can catch me because of my powerful horse legs and wild nature. I have all the apples I want

a curse for every ICE pig:
may your dreams be plagued by nightmares of your own violence inflicted upon you. may they never cease.
may your friends and family be forever ashamed and disgusted by your actions.
may you die alone, suffering under the weight of every heinous act you committed.

Blurry photo of George, a black and white Aussie mix, who has his chin resting on the edge of the couch, and is looking to the right of the camera in a pleading manner. In the background you can see a Christmas tree, tv surrounded by bookshelves, and a very cluttered coffee table. Also, a tiny bit of a fluffy tabby cat.
He's not allowed on the couch (no jumping, per dr's orders), but he wants me to know that he doesn't like it.

I also grew up country, and I used to (unintentionally) upset my coworkers with tales from my childhood. Look, country kids ALL have a horrifying injury story. It's part of our culture 😅

A screenshot of a Google map of part of the northern UK coast. Right below "Holy Island Causeway" I've added a hand-scrawled comma and "Batman!" So it reads, "holy island Causeway, Batman!"
Is this a joke?

Almost done and I'm having a great time. It's my first time reading litrpg and that took some getting used to, but not much. The writing style reminds me a lot of early Dresden Files (complimentary). I totally get why everyone recommends the audiobook!

My ponybolted and fully bucked me off over his own head when I was 5. Like in a Tex Avery cartoon. He then took off for the barn, leaving me on the ground while my parents tried to catch up (I was fine). His name was Cracker Jack and he bit everyone. RIP a legend.

The miniseries, collected as HAWKGIRL: ONCE UPON A GALAXY, is a heartbreaking work of staggering genius.

I. Have. Thoughts.
1. This movie is SO HORNY
2. Like, REALLY HORNT
3. Key party is iconic
4. Why...does the Grinch have such realistic nipples (with all of 1 sec screen time)
5. I think I might actually love this movie?!

Ok. Decided to finally watch 2000's The Grinch. This movie came out when I was in high school and I was such a snob about it. Ergo, I'd avoided it lo, these many years. 1/

A vibrant red pinup illustration featuring a Christmas elf, body seen from the thigh up. Her thighs are tied in red Christmas ribbons with sparse bits of mistletoe-like greenery trapped among them. She's poised with her right hand elegantly held aloft at her hip, left hand delicately lifted towards her shoulder. Her torso and arms are equally tied in Christmas ribbons and spare bits of greenery. Behind her head is a yule wreath with holly berries, bells, and candles. 🎨✨

/2 in The Harrowing Game, 3 ghosts vie to tell the best scary story, and hopefully win their release from a purgatory of some kind. The stories are so good and unsettling and satisfying, and the art is a lovely balance to the more upsetting parts of the book, keeping you reading despite the horror.

My hand holding a book with a purple cover called The Harrowing Game by Antoine Revoy. The cover has a picture of a circular mirror reflecting two children looking into the mirror, and a wooden door behind them.
I just realized I hadn't shared this read from last month! Short review: read this book!
Slightly longer review: this book reminded me of Japanese horror in the best ways, specifically books like "100 Ghost Stories that will Lead to My Own Death" by Anji Matono. (Cont.)

On this Trans Day of Remembrance, I would have you remember that there are trans people alive who need your action now, not your reflective words later.
Remembering us is not enough.
