Also, having all of the exfils currently available be clustered on the opposite side of the map from you feels bad, specifically North Relay on Perimeter and Complex and Quarantine on DM feel particularly guilty of this.

It’s amazing be able to have fair fights when I’ve only got one friend online, but the spawn locations are starting to chafe a bit on Dire Marsh, especially with more people on the map compared to any other. I would love to see the spawns spread out a bit more, just so there’s more space to breath.

Sony has cancelled numerous games since they acquired Bungie, but not Marathon. They’ve seen every square inch of the game and approved of what they saw in one way or another. If Marathon gets shut down, it’s nothing that wouldn’t have happened regardless of if it sold 1 million copies or 100.

Not to mention, it’s also the best extraction shooter ever made? I feel like we’re losing the forest for the trees here a bit. The game is good, it feels good, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. And more importantly, people love it.

This isn’t directed at Tassi specifically, but the obsession with player counts and sales figures feels like a disease that only harms games and the people who make them. Marathon sold about as many copies as there are people living in Cyprus! If that isn’t enough to be a hit, what is?
