Also I realised this should have been Tweek.so not sure what happened there!

I did think about using CRDTs, it feels overkill for this specific use case but I can see where it would be handy!

At the moment a planned sync server will be the main way of syncing between devices. It will be possible to copy data from device to device but it will required export and importing

Thanks for the feedback JSON export is on the list! The other features I will have to have a think about, has really only been designed to go from top to bottom at the minute rather than entering todos anywhere

Screenshot of Fweek, todos are layed out like a calendar with a column for each day, except the weekend, which is combined into one column.

Fweekaboo mascot is overlayed to the left of the image. A round green cartoon character with a top hat, cane and monocle.

🎉Just dropped the Fweek beta 🎉

I don't know why I always end up creating mascots for my projects, but here we are (I am building something new).

Ye definitely don’t use this word unless you exactly how you are intending to use it 😂

Pro tip: having a vanity email address makes it super convenient to change email provider

Same! I also missed where in app purchase page says ‘ready to submit’ there is a setting on the main submission page to include the IAP you want to submit for review. The form will let you submit your app for review, even thought it will be reject if an IAP has not been reviewed at least once.

This was a real pain during the development of my last app. There are just so many things out of your control that can prevent code that was working the day before from working: agreements, os updates, etc. such a pain to productivity when you have a few hours a day at most to work on something

I will take a look, thanks!

I am interested in trying this on future projects! I use bloc on my last few projects, I do like the structure it gives my code but it ends up being so verbose it reminds me of writing Java 6

January is a challenging month.

It can be easy to get overwhelmed an frustrated. I didn't manage to make as much progress on my side projects as I would have liked but I did set out my roadmap of features: github.com/users/Jonath...

Just a reminder, take it easy on yourself ✌️

formz | Dart package A unified form representation in Dart which aims to simplify form representation and validation in a generic way.

Have you used this: pub.dev/packages/formz, this is what I usually use if I want in line validation. Otherwise, I would probably just pass the string back in response to event

How was the dev experience? Assuming this is Swift UI for a companion Flutter app? I haven’t really looked into it yet but have some companion watch app ideas…

Hotwire Native: Hotwire Native is a web-first framework for building native mobile apps. Hotwire Native unlocks mobile apps for web developers. Build your web views once and deploy them across multiple platforms.

Thanks for this, great write up captures a lot of my thoughts/questions. I primarily dev using #Flutter but it can be a bit slow sometimes for CRUD-esq workflows.

Don't know how well it works or if it would work out of the box, is there something on the Laravel side like this: native.hotwired.dev

ah this is great write up!

It’s Boxing Day and my #Flutter app is still in review, thinking of doing some web stuff as I haven’t really touched it for years. Been hearing good thing about #laravel and #rails 8 lately. Any one have any strong opinions on either? #php #ruby #rubyonrails

I think I will have to watch #FlutterInProduction again, all I can focus on right now is that Rivers Cuomo is a Flutter developer #flutter #flutterdev

Finally the goal is in sight, a three month project that ended up taking more than a year 😂

A project I started working on after having COVID and being diagnosed with asthma.
