I've spent 2 or 3 months implementing PCG for my immersive sim levels, only to find out that it seems to be a turnoff for fans of the genre. So I decided to design the levels instead. I'm about to graybox the first one in UE5, now that it's down on graph paper.
I mostly use conditional breakpoints with hit counts. For example if I know I have to break when a function is called 2 times, I set hit count=2. This is often useful for UI stuff when you click buttons.
An inventory system is vital for an immersive sim. Here is a quick look at what I have implemented so far.
