From Sunday 3 May the 600 bus service will offer improved connections to the Churchill Hospital with buses stopping around the hospital site.
This includes the main entrance, Sobell House, OCDEM, and the east entrance.
Currently, the service only stops on Roosevelt Drive, just outside the site.

A petition to get train services started on East West Rail between #Oxford and #MiltonKeynes
The line is there, we're in a fuel crisis, but a labour dispute means no trains yet. The petition asks Government to get on with it.

We hate to be closed - every week we are means our community struggles and goes hungry. Please give what you can at www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/oxford-mut... so we are able to afford these repairs!

Sorry Tim - filling potholes = basics if you see cars as the de facto travel mode⦠but if you accept private car use in urban settings as unsustainable then youād poor all your spending into mass transit + active travel in cities. Itās the future.
Fix the potholes sure but not at the expense of active travel / safety fundingā¦.

We put together a design guide to help planners in Oxford plan roads to consider ALL road users. And it turns out, our friends in other towns and cities are going to use it too.
Would this help your city?

Really hoping @matthewbarber.co.uk will revisit his initial comments when this excellent @oxfordclarion.bsky.social story broke.
His insistence this was not a criminal matter looks like increasingly poor judgement with every subsequent developmentā¦
The general public are heroic in the face of these moronic hate-fuelled actions.

National Raise the Colours founder Ryan Bridge was arrested last night on Abingdon Road for public order offences. Bridge himself had called the police when an Oxford resident lay under his cherry-picker van. Mobile phone footage from local residents shows Bridge shouting āIāve been arrested!ā.
Should public transport be free?
2 states in Australia think so. Will the UK government act decisively to reduce use of fuel and support struggling households?

genuinely unintentional I assure you!
Indeed - we need @matthewbarber.co.uk to explain why the TVP officers flagged down by the public and asked to deal with the criminality declined to get involvedā¦
Iām particularly interested to know if further action will be taken to educate the TVP officers who were flagged down on Abingdon Road but declined to intervene⦠did they misunderstand the law or were they just following directives from the top of their organisation?
Of course itās vile but itās ultimately down to the electorate of Littlemore to give their judgement at the ballot box - is this who they want to take their neighbourhood forward?
Glad we can agree on those points! To be clear Iām not expecting TVP to stop the flag activity but I am expecting them to enforce the law of the land. I happen to think one will then follow the other⦠Iām an optimist
The police should be intervening when the people who āraise the coloursā abuse people on the streets and block the highway. TVP are on the scene and declined to do so. But of course you can choose to deflect and point at the Council / thatās on you and I will call it as I see it
Heās a politician not an officer so this is no great surprise.
It must be hard not being able to declare your personal position on an issue like this for fear of detonating your future career aspirationsā¦. but itāll all come out in the end šæšæšæ
Alanā¦. Alanā¦ā¦ nope the name escapes me!!
Really Tim? You want to make this about the council rather than the racist right wing flag-shaggers? Shame on you
