I fired the starting gun on Ipswich's culture bid today because I am ambitious for our town.
Speaking to Wayne Bavin on BBC Radio Suffolk, I said this celebration of Ipswich's talent will attract people to our town, who will then spend money in our shops, restaurants and pubs, boosting our economy.
Suffolk County Council wasting £1.9M on blatant political advertising when people are not getting care, bus services are cut and potholes are not being fixed.
stop flirting xoxo
happy friday bot love you too
I'm not sure TNT were at the game... I do not remember that goal as described #itfc
The choice is clear: it is Bypass or bust.
We can drastically reduce congestion, protect jobs and investment, and modernise our road network.
Or will it be the same ‘do nothing’ approach?
I have made my choice.
It is time the Suffolk Conservatives made theirs.
My EADT / Ipswich Star column 👇
I have written to Suffolk County Council to ensure they postpone all non-emergency works in Ipswich during the repairs to the Orwell Bridge.
This includes the planned schemes on Nacton Road, Woodbridge Road and the Hospital to Waterfront route.
Has anyone ever seen a LinkedIn post that wasn't drafted by ChatGPT?
We've all had our standards lowered by brain rot television and Nepo baby acting to a certain degree, but I do feel if you watch Adolescence and think it is bad TV there's little hope left for you.
Delighted to be part of a unanimous vote of Ipswich Borough Council in support of a three unitary option for Suffolk.
A mega Suffolk County Council outvoted 3-1 by Norfolk on a Mayoral Authority, is not what we need. Nor is the greater Ipswich area being carved up in a simplistic East/West split.
Great to see these new homes starting to be occupied at Bibb Way alongside my friend and colleague Cllr Ross. New homes for Ipswich people from Ipswich Borough Council

Well, I’m shocked. It turns out that Labour adding VAT to private school fees did *not* lead to an exodus to the state sector, despite the hysteria of critics. Who would have thought it?? Y’know, other than every normal person in the country. www.theguardian.com/education/20...
The Ukrainian President appeared touched as Starmer pointed out cheers from the crowds gathered outside as the president's motorcade approached Downing Street.

The Darkest Hour on BBC2... apt scheduling.
Gutted they've killed off Martin, but some incredible acting from Lacey Turner 👏 #EELive
At today's #PMQs, I urged the Prime Minister to back the builders in Ipswich, and make the Northern Bypass a project of national significance.
After years of being kicked into the long grass, I'm determined to finally get this crucial infrastructure scheme moving.
What Ipswich needs from its MP and Government. Well done Jack for proposing this.
Been asked a lot lately about how Labour should respond re: $$$ donations, a potential Musk x Farage combo, Reform threats to Labour seats…
My response has largely been “stay calm, focus on government, use their most plentiful resource: time”
Because: stuff like this happens👇
He was at the Pizza Cup games when the attendances were 5-6k.
Ridiculous that Cunha is now playing in his second match since the post game antics. Thug.
Nice to be left with the genuine supporters in the ground after the final whistle. We go again. #itfc
Ipswich - and Suffolk - needs an alternative route to the Orwell Bridge or we will keep getting impacted.
Everyone needs to recognise that reality - and the consequences for our town and our county if this keeps getting kicked into the long grass.

Couldn't UDC have gone one morning without a swim?
i feel like there should be a person who's job it is to show up the first day of shooting, sit the director and the cinematographer down in a room and say "whatever you're about to do, it does not need to be that dark."
The multi-million pound redevelopment of the Ipswich Regent is a major boost for our town's thriving arts and culture scene.
The approval of this project by Ipswich Borough Council is a positive step forward, and I hope to visit the new and improved theatre next year!
What a journey! 🔵⚪
