Went to American Concrete Institute’s Convention with the NCSU ACI club to test our concrete in Chicago. Unfortunately during transport our concrete beam cracked in half but was still able to be tested. The judges said it was the best visual break in the entire competition! We placed 15th with 22KN.

My family boxer Penny finished chemo and is still very groggy from it. She is still able to yell at dad for treats though! She ‘s a champ!

Added the newly released dark blue GER J15 in the siding with the older LNER J15 in the shed. This was my entry in the Craftsman showcase

This was the first place winner of the Dioramas (adult division)

Got Honorable mention for the NRV craftsman showcase in Raleigh NC, this was the first year for the showcase within the train show. There weren’t that many entrees this year. Hopefully there will be a greater competition in the future!

Only made the traditional Jack-o-Lantern
for Halloween because it was the easiest to do.

I recently finished IXION on Xbox. It is probably one of the best City builder/survival games comparable to the main story of Frostpunk. If you haven’t played it I highly recommend it!

I’ve been slowly losing hair over the past year and I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. I’ve been trying Finasteride and minoxidil and I have only ever worn a hat because the hair looks wet/unkept after I apply the minoxidil. I would wait till after work to apply it at like 6pm and then again at 8

I honestly have no clue. The train itself has DCC onboard and we have also tried running other trains with it to pull the coaches.

The thing is that the coaches are so heavy that the train could not pull them all together so he could only run 4 cars before the wheels would slip. He built 9 coaches in all and added light up interiors with people and rooms inside each to Macy’s with the car type.

Earlier last may my brother wanted to run his New York Central Commodore Vanderbilt at the Golden East Crossing Mall where there is a #modeltrains layout for the club there. He kit-built all of the coaches which took him nearly a year to build them all.

Yes I made this custom diorama last December. The train in the shed is a Hornby J15.

Used a combo of HO/OO scale track and buildings. Also used Woodland Scenic Just Plug system to get the lighting to work.

Using a display box I got from Michaels gives the appearance of multiple train sheds from the back of the mirror. On the other side of the mirror I had the electronics haphazardly taped/glued on which could have been done better if I wanted to.

The train shed itself is from PIKO which does German HO scale buildings. I wanted to do a UK based theme which I am happy with.
