Children shouldn’t self mark it’s wasting time that’s the teachers job.

How will my children know I value their work if I write on it everyday?

He can’t use a laptop because it’s not fair on everyone else.

First time in 2+ years I haven’t got to teach full whilst being Deputy with exec head/Head of School. Today I opened the gates, walked the classrooms, did some events planning, planned some input for MDSAs, walked some more, caught up with children.

Oh I would love it. Others I have mentioned to have been less than impressed. Think I’ll get a tartan one too 😂 I love maverick choices. My silver cowboy boots go down a storm - and raise some eyebrow!! 😃

love this. Had a class last year who LOVED hard work. So much so that on days when I was covered and they could get away with not working hard they were aggrieved by not being held to account😀
They made astounding progress. Mostly due to THEIR work and not mine. All about ethos in the room.

Oh yes. The joys of the first 5 mins of the lesson being then responding to the question I put in their book. Which I could have just displayed but had to write/ draw/stick in. To prove my marking had impact 🙄

(Quite a while since I did this) Star and wishing work…. Had a HT who said we would only stop when everyone proved they could do it properly. For every piece of work. There were two of us bothering (LT) and everyone else not… blimmin nightmare!

Ooh I can’t stop browsing Papier…. A different design for each part of job? Meetings, dsl, personal…. The list (and joy) is endless!!
