Gun.Smoke 1985 (arcade). It brings back great childhood memories and is a seriously challenging game. Also, the 'Wild West' was appealing at the time to kids my age.

APB (Atari ST)

Came out in 1987 and I loved the free roam style (perfected with GTA). Still, to this very day, don't know a single person who has ever come close to completing it.
