Let me provide some examples! (Also I have two minor degrees related to genocide studies, with a particular focus on sexual violence in the context of conflict/ war/ genocide, so I know wtf i'm talking about)
This is just not true. The world of atrocity academia and legal studies is not significantly divided over semantic disputes regarding what definition of a genocide would apply to the situation in Gaza.
The outliers are very clearly approaching their dissent from a predominantly political viewpoint
