Are you saying it’s unRenmarkable? (Stay cool if you can!)
We know what happens. This is shamefully ignorant or horrifyingly criminal.
I’ve now realised that when I got sick while travelling, about 90 days ago, I was so sick that it left a visible furrow from right to left in all of my fingernails. I’d seen the impact on my fitness but the fact it slowed my nail growth to less than half? Wow. I wasn’t well _at all_.
Somewhat embarrassingly for an Australian, I have returned from leave sunburned. No excuses, I know better. I’m working from home so I can cover myself in aloe vera and leave my shirt off. I will use more sunscreen this year! ☀️🔥🤦♂️

I've just returned from a brief holiday on the Australian East Coast and I had a chance to think about what the new leadership role at the Uni will mean. One thing I felt I had to do, although it was honestly a tough decision to make, was tidy up the work/personal aspects of my…
Being more active here to keep connections I’ve lost when I de-worked Facebook. Hi everyone!

Books about Play
Being a subset of interesting books from my collection, accompanied with explanatory texts of varying utility, as well as references to this blog. A very rapid summary in far too much detail. I recently had reason to distill my thoughts on why games, play, and the playing of games…
World: Uh, hi?
He proposed different ways of viewing the data elements and relationships in texts - here’s his Hamlet graph based on who is saying what to whom. His book “Graphs Maps Trees” might be of interest but we could also just talk over coffee to see if it would be useful.
Have we talked about Franco Moretti?
… this can’t just be an LG thing.
Some people are always thinking bigotry and slurs, they’re just waiting for the opportunity to yell it at their victims without censure, to hurt others from the comfort of the safe seats. Bigoted, stupid, cowardly, and evil.
Not surprised at the number of bots/chuds that showed up in this thread to defend the Nazi salute, but I *am* disappointed at the number of people in the comments who chose to argue with those fucking losers. Don't engage the bots/chuds, people. That's what they want. Block them without comment.

Do eeeet
This guy is only a little famous but he’s certainly helped me to realise what a good life can look like. This is Arland D. Williams Jr. I have other people I could put here for humour but I put him here for honour.
Ah, but Fan Mo is my secret guardian angel although I can obvs see why you’re using this quote. :)
Your daily reminder that words are just playthings to fascists. They have no binding to truth, they just say anything to achieve their goals. If they can waste your time arguing with them, they’re stopping you doing anything else.
tweet by @PerthshireMags climate change will manifest as a series of disasters viewed through phones with footage that gets closer and closer to where you live until you're the one filming it

Hey, social media, here my dinner. Pesto made with basil from my garden!
Obviously have to move a lot of presence here due to the upcoming tire fire that once was FB. Time to pack up my social napkin on a stick. Again.
Someone called this mass exodus from Twitter ‘the fall of the Broman Empire’ and I died laughing. 💀
The last person who crossed Dawna, a jigsaw puzzle.
Love your work, David.
Weirdly enough that appears to be my thing! ❤️
We have to wait until we move to do that? Noted.
