My book on my Kindle

Book update! Today I finished the third and most intensively-edited draft of the DIE HARD book. Now I’m sending it to a handful of trusted friends for feedback and dropped it onto my Kindle, where I’ll give it another read on the plane to Austin and between movies at SXSW.

I don’t know what it’s like on the other side of the aisle, but I feel like every single Dem candidate / cause in this country has texted me. They gotta know this makes a bunch of us swear to never donate again, right? Not that I’m gonna give the Dems anything again…

Not the most important complaint, and not the first to complain about it, but: if I find out which Democratic group sold my phone number to every other progressive group on earth, I’m gonna shove my phone right up their…

I haven’t been posting all my wins lately but today was a banner day.

Husband and I hit up Round 1 but also an indie claw machine place in Danville that was extremely cheap and disappointing. (See pic 3)

My husband’s starting to get into this too, but he mostly just wants to do the chibi machines.

My home Round 1 hasn’t gotten the shark Mofusands in the claw machines yet, but I’ve been seeing them on TikTok and getting jealous. So I popped over to the SF one after work (and hit the MINISO over there too; I got obsessed with blind boxes recently, Satan help me) and they had the RAINBOW SHARK!

NASA say that the crew member who was ill and returned to earth is doing well and now having a meal with colleagues.

My new intern is so innocent, she sincerely told me at the end of the day “See you next Tuesday” and I had to keep a straight face.

Pfff Mal. It’s when the toy itself is not in the machine to grab. Instead it’s a round yellow cushion that you’re trying to pick up with the claw and get to the chute. Those aren’t skill based; it’s basically only if you’re lucky and the claw feels like grabbin’

There are like six machines with different Mofusand at our local Round 1 and I am determined to get them all. But this red panda Mofusand is extraordinarily cute! My first time winning a “token” style claw game too.
