What a relief! Hoping that could be enough but it would be good to get something out of the last two games to be sure. It’ll be nice when it stops so we can regroup for next season.

I’ve escaped to the coast near Bridlington for a few days and I’ve just been for a run along the beautiful coast. Glorious run in the sunshine going downhill, but not as much fun uphill coming back. Still it’ll build my fitness a little 😊🏃🏻♂️🌞
Enjoyed a very nice football free day in York, with visits to York Minster, Betty’s Tea Room finished off with a candlelit string quartet at the Yorkshire Museum. Nice to experience a bit of culture every now and then 😁
Much better today Johanna. If we play like that until the end of the season we should be ok. Gutted to lose so late on after having chances to win 😀 #swa
Hope you have some time to relax over the weekend and that things improve for you next week.
Some very impressive stats posted by the running community for 2025. My target was a modest one, running 100 times across the year. I got to 139 runs and 482 miles. Got out consistently, no injuries and happy with my achievements. Next target to do the same or better in 2026.

Top of Walker Park, Prenton?
That’s great Fletch. You’re doing a great job. I’ll let him know. See you next week 😁
Me too! They remind me that the oblong is a great place to live and that I need to return permanently sometime in the future 😁
I always park in one of the roads opposite St Stephen’s Church. It’s only a 5 minute walk down the hill from there.
Give them a shout for me! Final day in Rhodes today enjoying some autumn sun 😁 #swa
They’ve not made much in wasabi flavour! An acquired taste maybe?
The Ryder Cup would be a great watch if it wasn’t for the crowd. They make it unbearable 🙁
At the start of the year I set myself a target to go out running 100 times. Generally only 5k each run but I have gone out consistently, stayed injury free and avoided illness. Tonight was my 100th run and it feels good to reach my target in September. Just need to keep going now 😁
Enjoyable day walking in the Lake District with my youngest on Saturday. It was a long day walking but some great views and so nice to be out on the fells 😁

Had a nice walk up Causey Pike this morning. A few of the higher fells obscured by cloud, but some breathtaking views nonetheless. A comfortable walk and feeling much fitter after 12 months of running and healthier eating 😊
I’ve never read or watched anything written by Jane Austin, but really enjoyed Pride and Prejudice at Theatre by the Lake tonight. Brilliant cast and performance made for a very enjoyable night out 🎭
We didn’t even need Parkrun, Egret spotting or jigsaws to get a result today 😁😁😁
Haha! Nice to recognise one for a change 😁
4 reminds me of the ginnel between Pine Walks and Golf Links Road in Prenton, but I’m sure there are lots of similar places across the oblong.
Villages by the Sea is at Runswick Bay tonight. Just burst out laughing at Ben Robinson referring to a headland with some caves called ‘Randy Bell End’. Someone with a filthy sense of humour picked that one 😂
I’m pretty sure the same thing happened last year, but managed to pull a squad together for the start of the season. Hopefully for the supporters, they get things sorted for this season.
Hurricane Donald?
Great finish from Norwood there 😁
Much better to have another north west team back in League 2. Better atmosphere and attendance for the home game and a nice local away trip. Norwood loves a Wembley goal doesn’t he? 😁
Enjoy Johanna. Hopefully the sun shines and there is a spare table in Betty’s 😊
Love your photos Martin. I’m going to have to move back to the oblong in a few years time so I can spend some time walking around these places 😁
Nice to see you back. Hope you are feeling a little better.
