The best way to break the law is to be a cop.

hey come on, this was no merger of equals, it's more like this
There's a little YouTube channel which has some great interviews with many of the artists, here's just one, with the Highwaywoman, Mary A. Carroll, who sold her paintings from her 1964 Buick Electra convertible: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7G-3...
Highwaymen paintings were kind of everywhere in Florida in the 80s and 90s, but if you see one in a thrift shop now, grab it! Not only are they wonderful touchstones to the natural beauty of "old Florida" they're also now worth thousands - a far cry from the $25-35 they usually sold for new.
Over on FB, a friend posted about the Florida Highwaymen. They were a group of black artists, mostly centered around Fort Pierce, who painted Florida landscapes on low cost materials like drywall board and cardboard, generally selling them out of the trunks of cars or door to door.
Elizabeth Williamson once wrote about me, and I can attest she's a skilled, thorough, and honest reporter. If you're in the public eye, you should expect journalists to write about you—especially if you hold public office.
Kash Patel is pure garbage, even when he's sober.

Yes, Swiss scientist Fritz Zwicky coined the term “dark matter” which is impressive, but he also coined the term “spherical bastard” to describe people who are bastards no matter which way you look at them, and I think that should be celebrated more.

There is a reason Watergate was broken by Woodward & Bernstein on the metro desk AND NOT by the White House press corps.
Izzy Stone was mocking White House reporters as useless back in the 1950s
Hung Cao—who compared abortion to the Holocaust on the campaign trail and claimed combat injuries with no documentation—just became Acting Secretary of the Navy. This is what the collapse of institutional standards looks like in real time.
Just daily driving the dang thing at this point

I think a lot of the blame for these super old-ass Dems refusing to step down is on their staff.
If their meal ticket doesn’t keep running, they are out of their jobs, so blind, senile or crazy, staffers will keep them in the game.
I’ve been up since 1am so naturally it’s the perfect time to figure out the Roland Jupiter 8 arp part for Hungry Like the Wolf
I feel like @bob-p-dj.bsky.social covered this 2 or 3 shows ago…. Or maybe it was for Rio?
HUGE scandal if true. Laura Loomer got Marco Rubio to throw two Iranian women with green cards in ICE jail to be stripped of status and deported, claiming they were related to Qasem Soleimani.
Official documents provided to @dropsitenews.com appear to show they are NOT related; they're innocent.
So, the guy who thinks that witches have taken over California is now the acting Secretary of the Navy? Super.
NEW: Pope Leo XIV, his white cassock soaked by a West African downpour, set aside his scripted address on Wednesday at Bata Prison in Equatorial Guinea and delivered an improvised message to the inmates gathered in the courtyard:
God would never abandon them.
That's how it happened

They should be given a fake gold watch and kicked to the curb at 65 like my grandfather was. I'll even let them keep their pensions.
dhuartson: Don't let anyone talk you out of spending $15 on a new hobby. That $50 will be the best $400 you ever spent.
This is not wrong.
just get it over with at this point
