I'm happy to see a 50 year old man with cool sunglasses and a spiked leather jacket full of band patches. I'm happy to see a middle aged mom wearing unique jewelry and varied colors. We don't stop wanting to express ourselves just because we're grown up and I think the idea of "too late" sucks.

So I wear what I want. I wear ita bags and spiked chokers and hightops and cool jeans. And I see I'm not the only one? Like, I think a lot of us, queer or not, didn’t have this avenue to express ourselves as teenagers and are doing it as adults. It's really cool.

When I was a teenager, my family was kind of poor and we lived in a smallish town / didn't travel, so I really had no access to varied clothes and never developed an interest. It felt kind of pointless to. Now I'm 35 and I have much greater financial stability and spending money and access.

I'm sorry people are so fucking weird about fat bodies. You deserve to just Be in spaces, in fiction, in media, in art without it being a discourse-causer.

As a non-fat person, I think it's also really important for non-fat folks to speak up for fat ones. There's this weird idea that the only reason someone would defend an "othered" group (ie: LGBT, POC, fat, disabled, etc.) is because they're a part of it, and that's not true.

All your OC designs are SO cool and fashionable. You really draw such likeable masculine faces and use great shapes. I love the varied hair textures, too.
