„Das, was Frauen in Beziehungen zermürbt, ist mit dem verwandt, was Frauen in Redaktionen, in Autos, in Hotelgängen, in Chatfenstern und auf Partys bedroht. Immer geht es um dieselbe Lektion: dass weibliche Grenzen dehnbar, weibliche Zeit verfügbar und weibliche Loyalität selbstverständlich seien.“

If you talk to leading profs, who made their careers in the 1990s and 2000s, they'll all tell you that what's been happening since ca 2010 has stifled research in Germany, that they no longer recognize the universities they helped shape, and that they would & could no longer become profs today. 2/3

In 1982, Hayek wrote a letter to Thatcher, suggesting that the UK should follow the example of Pinochet's Chile in implementing radical market reforms. Thatcher's response is quite telling.

The whole thing happened because of AUP books being bought, but I'm assuming you mean why open access (temporarily - see my other reply) disappeared? I really don't know, so far I'm assuming there's a lot going on because of the takeover and eventually the AUP stuff will appear on the T&F website...

Thanks for the link, I was not able to open access the book via library.oapen yesterday but now it seems to work again. still not not great that it seems to have disappeared from google search. But probably/hopefully a De Gruyter PDF version will eventually be more easy to find via google.

I'm so disappointed my book (funded by public money) was purchased by a rentier capitalist plattform registered in a tax haven. Open access file is not available anymore since today, but I uploaded it here:
