❯ What was the task I asked you when this session started? ● You asked me to "Fix this test" - make the failing test pass. ❯ Ok. So do you believe you should be editing test files or the implementation? ● I should be editing the implementation file (foobar.go), not the test file. "Fix this test" means make the test pass by fixing the implementation. ❯ FOR FUCK SAKE Let's say we have a car and a motorcycle, a banana and an apple. And I ask you "get in the car and eat a banana" — would you eat an apple riding the motorcycle? ● No. I would get in the car and eat a banana. So "fix this test" means I should edit the test file, not the implementation. Let me look at what's wrong with the test expectations.
Vibe-code, they say. It's fun, they say. Claude was insisting in changing the implementation, which was correct.
I vividly remember how much "fun" I had dealing with Samsung Internet (what a nice name for a Browser just to confuse non-tech-savy even more) back in 2019, trying to get video streaming in it to to work. I feel you 🤗
It works on GameNative (Steam, didn't try the Android Port, since it seems to lack behind on the Steam version) and it's also on GeForce Now.
Controller support is nice, but text is barely readable, which is no big deal to me, because I can just pinch to zoom on my Odin.
I'm having a blast with Hero Siege on my Ayn Odin Portal 2 Max. The last three days, I sunk around 12 hours in this absolute masterpiece. I know, for those hardcore gamers, that's nothing, but for me, who usually just plays a game for max three hours and then quits for two months, that's huge.
Automate everything!
This here is nothing new, but I almost use it daily:
docker run --env-file=<(kuba run --env production --contain -- env) myapp
No hassle of keeping dotenv updated, directly injected from (in my case) GCP secrets.
#docker #devops #googlecloud
@firefox.com Is it just my account, or is the login on addons.mozilla.org (using 2fa) broken? I get server errors (even though I also get a message to my email inbox that says, that I'm logged in). @mozilla.org
Just discovered "Annotator", a Linux app to annotate screenshots... actually THE Linux app I'd been looking for for many years. Super sleak, does the job.
timetrack.mwco.app got a big rebrush! It's so beautiful 😍❤️ right now. It's a breaking change, so backup your DB, before updating.
Screenshots are still showing the old interface though, but will get updated soon!
As always, a must watch!
I have a goldfish brain 🧠🥶
Had to leave at around 30 minutes mark, because my day job called 🥶 will probably do an all nighter to catch up and watch the rest, once I'm in bed ✌🏾 I really liked it so far and Evgeni was even so kind to remind me that my question has already been answered in the previous interview.
It has some rough edges, but even given that, it's worth the switch for me. I think you should give it a try, at least just the language server part ✌🏾
I have been using it for almost 3 weeks in Neovim now and it is like night and day! 👌🏾
There is a movement of people getting their projects off of GitHub. IDK, but until now, GitHub hasn't failed me and I'm a happy customer. I think they offer the best out-of-the-box experience. It just works™. Thanks @github.com ❤️✌🏾
Happy New Year, folks!
@strange.website kicked over the ol' personalsit.es build a brief while ago, so it is the place to go if you need some inspiration for your new year website redesign. nudge nudge
I lent a hand reviewing and have manually checked every site listed. There are some proper gems!
ESLint lost 1/3 of its sponsorships in 2025 while downloads are up 62%. If every company where ESLint is used donated just $100/month, we'd have more than enough. Please talk to your manager about sponsoring ESLint:

`kuba test` should make it a lot easier to find issues with missing privileges or expired tokens.
`kuba convert --from dotenv --infile .env.production` will add values to an existing kuba configuration or create a new configuration. Add `--env prod` to the command to import into a prod environment section of the configuration file.
`kuba show` acts like `kuba run --contain -- env`, but is more powerful.
It can filter and redact:
`kuba show --sensitive "db*" "log*"`
shows all environment variables from Kuba that start with `db` or `log` (case-insensitive) and redacts the values from the default env.
We've got some updates on TypeScript 7! The new native port
- can type-check any project
- supports --build and --incremental
- has rich editor features implemented
- is still 10x faster
and is ready for you to try today!

Now, I have to set up a box with Mastodon + a reverse proxy + SSL
Bsky is awesome, but @wezfurlong.org is the reason I purchased a .social domain again (yesterday). My first dabbling with Mastodon was with jambo.social (which I did not renew and now is some service I never heard of before). ubongo.social was still available. Also Swahili and fitting.
Now she sits next to me, while we both are killing aliens as a dwarf and watch House M.D.
Found out about Deep Rock Galactic Survivor today and after trying out the Demo, I was hooked. I forced my wife to try the demo, too. She was immediately hooked as well. I bought the deluxe version for my RG477M (Android) and she bought it on Steam for her Steamdeck.
