I'm well, so buy I haven't been on here since... it can't be November, surely? :O

Indeed. I've been so busy I haven't been on here for two weeks!
I leave mine to soak for up to a week to neut the acid first.
A well fed tabby cat sitting in a big white armchair. His fluffy belly is exposed and he has one hind leg casually resting on the armrest. He’s looking at the camera, calm and relaxed. #CatsOfBluesky
Casual Friday
Don't mind them, but watching Doug H blooming from 20 to 200 to 200,000 folls in 4 months bc Maiden fans all told their friends about his analysis was sheer joy.
Watching Eliz Zharoff being converted into a metalhead in a couple of hours was the biggest boost I've had in years.
Horse Stance!
Too many people haven’t touched a book since they graduated high school and it shows.
He’ll forever be guilty.
Well, I’ll never be asked to sing Christmas songs at the psych ward again
Apparently, “do you hear what I hear”, was the wrong choice?
Wow, first trip to the States? I haven't been keeping up with you, given life is manaically busy & the way FB hides everything we want from us.
Post a non-religious photo you think of as holy...
More Glimmers than I can poke a stick at. It's like discovering Myspace & Pinterest simultaneously.
The dark backgrounds really make the images pop, esp art & space, even in daylight.
A very noticeable contrast with Facebook. I use Night background for youtube for the same reason.
There are a few others (Fairy Voicemother for one) but most of the others are dead boring - people barely commenting or reacting, & no analysis or expertise.
I learned about Bruce's vocals from Zharoff in an hour than I did from 40 years of nonstop listening to them!
Right, I wasn't sure. I remember the tattoo guy overdrawing your tatt image with his finger. That must've been 2019.
But also that you got a graphics tablet later.
Speakin' of listenin': do you watch Reac vids?
AWESOME series by Elizabeth Zharoff of first-time reacs to Maiden from 2021-24. Former opera-singer & vocal coach.
Also music-teacher Doug Helvering, who got into reacs, played Maiden & got converted & became a 300,000-follower star. Both unmissable
I wish I had all of 'Notta Lotta People...' on CD: I have all 12" EPs, & copied to tape (it was 1990 after all), but I only got 4 & 5 or 5 & 6 second-hand later.
If I need to check working these days I find them on youtube, & disappear down a rabbit-hole of links to links to links from there.
Feedback is always good (unless you're holding a microphone).
The only tablet I remember was the first one with touch-sensitive drawing instead of a graphics pen like my AceCAD.
The one you started drawing on when you got the Scythian tatt, etc.
Hey Hiero. How's post-tanker life treating you?
joined BSky on Weds & have been slowly learning to fly it, assisted by good human interfaces & former Shejidaners.
Hakkitk.
Ktktktktk Ktktkttktt!
Here it was 24 today & it'll be 29 tomorrow & it's not even December yet! :(
High temps are for Xmas & January-February, not for late November. It's too early to be summer already.
Well, they may not think they know a man who's harrassed a woman. It would be incredibly rare to have not noticed, even if they didn't care.
It's never been bettered & rarely equalled. Everything about this album is perfect.
Brilliant artist, producing anatomically-correct articulated sterling-silver jewellery.
Never bought any jewellery for myself before, only for spouses.
Kate's Isopods are unavoidable. <3
Powerslave. First `Maiden album for me, same year we did Anc Egy at school, & Jn Romer's _Ancient Lives_ on TV.
Perfect allignment of coincidences. <3
LAD filled out the W. Slav. Tour with awesome set photos, & S. in Time went futuristic & guitar-synths the same time I did! <3
My first was Powerslave 40 years ago. LAD continued the trend of deeper, richer & more detailed, & SIT knocked it out of the park.
What a time to be alive!
Die With Your Boots On (or whatever you like)!
Never knew you'd written it. Don't remember it ever coming up in discussion.
Always wanted to write for A/U & Compact, & never had time to take it anywhere, even in the 90s.
I guess I’d better post something! I’m a Tasmanian artist & retired tech college teacher.
Trying to stay sane & grounded in an increasingly insane world.
Covid isn’t over & the next pandemic is just around the corner.
