Yesterday our team attended the South Yorkshire Sexual Violence Conference at New York Stadium. It was a powerful and important event bringing together professionals and organisations committed to supporting survivors of sexual violence.
We were delighted to welcome Kilvinder Vigurs, South Yorkshire's Deputy Mayor for Policing & Crime, and Kathryn Whittington, Commissioning and Contract Manager at South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority to Rotherham Abuse Counselling Service today.

Meet Shireen! 👋 We’re so pleased to welcome a new play therapist to Rotherham Abuse Counselling Service. 🦖
Shireen offers play therapy sessions for children aged 4–12 in our young persons’ counselling room: a safe, creative space for children to explore their feelings and be heard.
We stand in solidarity with survivors and victims, and this event is an opportunity to raise awareness of the harmful effects and call for much needed change.
