Completed Fluttershy plushie, she still needs a bow for her mane

yo whats up? last week I completed this beautiful commissioned Rainbow Pony! Third Dash, third different mane. But this time I might keep the pattern for future plushies.
- height 40cm,

at #Galacon I tried to draw stuff. There were some results. The car one and the squirrel could be found on the endless paper roll which went to the charity auction later
I should do more drawing to improve my skills😅

I won’t be too active next months. There are too many unfinished tasks built up in the recent years which I need to complete first.

Like this commissioned Scoots I just completed will fly to BabsCon this week

Last weekend I could complete Scootaloo. She is around 26cm/10" 'tall', and is based on a shrunken pattern for fillys of my "2.5 standing pattern"
The photo colour is a bit warm, the fabics used are Shannons cuddle Mango and Magenta

Hi everyone,
for the last months Iwaskind of quiet, and did other stuff than sewing. But I created a new pattern for fillys. This is the prototype, and I still need to tweak some minor stuff, but all in all I am quite happy how it turned out. Its about 25cm high, maybe I will make it a bit smaller

9/9 Cadence is now back to her old beauty!
It took a bit longer than expected, but now she is ready to be picked up by her owner. It was intersting to meet my own skills from some years ago, and where I improvedover that time.

and having companies like MS, Amazon or Rolls Royce and their small reactors we are a step closer to a glowing bright future

still working on Cadence, had not too much time. Complete new head piece, some imporvements in stabalizing mane and ear fabric pieces to prevent wrinkles. Currently sewing her back mane. I used a lot of pins to trace the old sewing line :D

when Minky looks like a miniature towel after washing, go get a brush. For years now I am using a cheapo dental brush, but also a toddler hair brush.

all parts are clean now!

The body is also ready to be washed. Ears, wings and the head it self are taken off. Without the stuffing the stains in her coat are much more visible

Today I started disassembling the plushie. These parts are in the washing machine right now. On the photos you can clearly see the stain as shadows. The end of the tail has the old / to be colour

On this pictures you can see the discoloration by soot. The room she was in didn't burn but had a lot of soot on the walls. Luckily Cadence had been laying on the floor, where the damage due to soot was a lot less. On a table she would been dark grey

Cadence looks quite dirty on the pictures, but inreality it is much more, mainly to to that unique smell of ... yes, house fires.
So I will do the following the next weeks and months
-open all hand-sewn threads
- replacing the filling
- washing
- replace parts as needed

Cadence restoration
Last weekend I got some sad news. One of my plushie creation became victim of an apparment fire. Luckily she was not burned, but got a lot of smoke and soot.
So I picked her up some days ago to try to restore her.

… my daily routine consisted of employed work (9to5), sewing for hours until 10 or midnight and some sleep.
Now I can make up for everything that I laid back. And that’s a lot 😅
