Not to be antagonistic, but this is why people around the world (ie. Canada!) are annoyed with the US, the arrogance, the boasting, "we were the beacon of democracy!", "USA! USA!".
No. There are so many countries better off and we don't have to overthrow other democracies to get our way.

And yes, I ate the whole thing!

As a Canadian, it is such a bizarre reality that this is even possible, that political parties can make decisions about electoral districts. It should be an independent committee that has no affiliation.
Probably ALL of the best countries in the world operate this way.

It's interesting to read about this now, when I just saw that episode two nights ago.
I like these odd connections in life.

I think this is part of a scene in the 5th season of Fargo. I think it goes back about 200 years to Wales and a character is told to eat food that was on a body. I had no idea why or what he was doing.

I know so many who are still going. They love it, part of their annual tradition. Never mine, and I have no intention of ever going to the States again.

A pizza, well done. Blackened even.

A second pizza, with homemade tomato sauce base and a homemade creamy garlic sauce on top!

An antique piano. I paid several hundred dollars for it and now sold it for $50!!!!

A Tale of Two Pizzas.
It was the best of crusts, it was the worst of crusts.
I have been trying to sell this piano (made in Toronto about 150 years ago) for years.
Tonight a couple bought it — for $50.
But while they were here I forgot I had my homemade pizza in the oven.
So ... I made a second.

I can't stop. I have a streak of about 184 days of solving. In fact I have never not solved it. One Word Search is fun too.

The only thing I don't like about Canuckle is that some words are plural. That opens it up to so many more possibilities. Not fair! 😭😂

The worst is when someone doesn't get a steak joke and they grill you over it.

The word "evil" comes to mind. Right-wing governments are so obsessed with regressing in all aspects of society. Grrrrrrrr!

I found it so interesting and bizarre that he was friends with Alice Cooper, and they were golf buddies. I saw a clip of Cooper praising Campbell for his guitar playing.

General Tso Chicken. Spicy and tasty. Most of it was already served before this picture was taken.

I made General Tso Chicken using an authentic recipe (which means no sugar added too).
Most of it was served already. Eight Thai peppers in the sauce! Wow, I'm quite warm now.

I went white water rafting on the tidal bore in the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia.
What a blast! Lots of shrieking and laughing.

Watching, it was song after song that sounded sooo good.
Funny, the only song I didn't know was the first.

It's somewhat luck. I buy myself. I thought I did well with a stock and sold making 65% in a few months. But it climbed to more than 600% in a few more months. I sold another on Friday making 85% in a couple of months but I have others that are blah. Educated guessing. And timing.

What annoys me is when they mention how America was great. Um, that was when they weren't racist and sexist, I believe. Which was....
And the "beacon of democracy" as they destroy other democracies around the world.

I sold one for $100, but I think I didn't ask enough (in theory). A guy offered to pay that much and drive 2 hours here to get it. Weird.

I find it interesting on Bluesky to hear from people all over, UK, US, Australia, and Canada primarily and snippets about their life.
For instance you mentioned draught. Here, (London Canada) I am tired of the rain. And we had hot days recently. Yesterday snow!!! Thursday it will nice and warm! 😊😂

Is the credit for Walk on the Wild Side? To me this is different enough that they wouldn't need to.

Lou was quite a songwriter. I don't think he gets enough credit for that.
I remember a big backlash when he said VU was better than The Doors. People live The Doors, but I agree. VU were deeper, more varied, and more cool!

My son is working on a PhD. He complains about other students and their lack of knowledge and ability (throughout his Master's too). On a recent project with others, he basically took it over because he was afraid their effort would lower his grade.

Seedlings of butternut squash, hami melon, parsley growing indoors.

Seedlings of butternut squash, hami melon, parsley growing indoors.

My seedlings are coming along. Looking forward to growing squash again. And trying to grow hami melon. Outside I have 80 garlic plants about 30 cm tall.

One problem. It is snowing out!!!

It won't last. On Thursday it will be 20 C. Bring on the warmth!

How will he possibly get around now? Sarcasm. Our mini Trump needs to have all his decisions reversed.
You know it is bad when even BBC is covering the backlash. Ha!
